There isn't a way to level down a course or skill on Duolingo once you've advanced, but you can always review your previous lessons. For this, return to the skill you wish to revisit, and click on it. There, you'll find lessons and practice sessions that cover the material from all the levels you’ve completed within that skill. This is designed to help you review and reinforce what you've learned at your own pace. Please be assured that the system won't force you to move on until you feel comfortable.
