Please note, if your new home isn't in the same neighborhood as your old one, you'll need to create a new Nextdoor account. Make sure to remove your old address to stop notifications from your previous neighborhood.

On Nextdoor, safety and trust are very important. To maintain this, each member is required to use their real name and verify their address. However, depending on the local policies for your neighborhood network, you may be able to display just the first initial of your last name. Nextdoor.com only allows users to have one account per person, and that account must be associated with your primary residence for verification and security reasons. This is to ensure that everyone on Nextdoor is a verified resident of the neighborhoods that they're participating in. So unfortunately, you can't have a separate account for your holiday home. However, you can follow the public posts from your holiday home neighborhood by finding it in the Nearby Neighborhoods feature on Nextdoor.
