Hello, I had previously set up two-step verification for my email account to enhance security. Recently, I got a new phone and changed my phone number. Unfortunately, I forgot to update my new number on my Gmail account, leading to complications. I attempted to address this issue by reaching out to Gmail support multiple times but have not received any assistance. This has been particularly problematic as I am a college student and my professors communicate with me through my old email address. Despite my efforts to regain access to my account by providing various details such as my old phone number, device model, new number, and new device model, I have been unsuccessful. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me in recovering my account. If needed, I can provide further information to verify my ownership of the account. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I am unable to access my email account, [redacted], as I have forgotten my password. I attempted to verify my account by receiving a code on my phone, but I am only able to remember the year and month of the account creation date. It then asks me to provide an alternate email, which I did ([redacted], [redacted]), but it still cannot verify my account. I typically use the same cell phone and computer to log in to my accounts. What steps can I take to regain access to my email?

I purchased a refurbished Dell [redacted] six weeks ago and have experienced multiple issues since. Despite trips to a repair shop, a home visit, and a new Wi-Fi box, the computer keeps dropping my online connection randomly, especially when sending emails. Now, I have a more severe problem: I can't access my Gmail due to being unable to sign in to my Google Account. I have tried various password and email combinations without success. Regular email: [redacted] Recovery email: [redacted] Another Google-associated email: [redacted] Google Account password: 1208Lrh! My son-in-law attempted to help, and even a Google support tech couldn't solve the issue after a 30-minute call. The problem began when I tried to add Ad Remover, was directed to install Firefox, and believe that Firefox may have caused the problem with my Google Account. I removed Firefox after a struggle, but I'm unsure if it's completely gone. I can still receive emails on my Android smartphone if you need to contact me that way. Any assistance or guidance is welcome. Thank you! - Lauren Hanisian

Hello, I received two emails from an Italian website confirming purchases yesterday. Today, another email confirmed a purchase. Upon checking my account details on the website, I noticed the same email address, a phone number in Italy, and an address. My cousin in Italy called the number, and the person said she shares my name and email. I've had this email for 8 years without any issues like this. Can someone explain how this is happening? I am unsure if this is a scam and would appreciate help in resolving it. Thank you. Kind regards, Florina G.

In [redacted], I created an account that was hacked around [redacted]. I need access to it now for important emails and password resets. I have evidence to verify my ownership, but Google is not allowing me to confirm my identity because I do not remember the password from [redacted], and the hacker changed the backup email and phone number. It is urgent that I regain access to my account promptly. Please note, I am not using the same laptop (Google Chromebook) that was used back when the account was created because it was owned by the school I attended. Thank you for your help.

I have been facing difficulty accessing my Gmail account. Despite using the correct login details, I receive a message stating my device is not recognized, even though it's the same notebook I've used for about a year. I've encountered issues with verification messages before, but now I'm completely locked out. The phone number linked to my account cannot receive texts, but I can receive them on my cell at [redacted]. Not being able to access my emails three times this week has led to crisis situations. I rely on Gmail for communication and urgently need access. Don R. [redacted] B Avenue, Terrebonne, OR [redacted] [redacted] 1 [redacted] (cell for texts)

I recently updated my Gmail app, and after doing so, I noticed that I lost all of the contact pictures that used to show up with my emails. These pictures are linked to my iPhone contacts, which I've been using for the past 5 years. I haven't been using Gmail contacts because I have a large number of contacts that I don't want to enter manually. Seeing the sender's picture is very helpful for me due to my visual impairment. I prefer them over the generic circles with initials. Can someone assist me in syncing my iPhone pictures back with my Gmail account? Thank you in advance. - Annie

I am facing a complex issue with my Gmail account. Years ago, I created an email address with a version of my name that had a dot missing, assuming ownership without any errors during setup. Lately, I have been receiving emails addressed to the version of my name with dots missing. Although the email header indicates the messages are for me, I am uncertain about ownership. Upon reviewing Gmail's policy on dotted versions of email addresses, it states that the account without dots also owns the dotted versions, preventing the creation of separate accounts with dots present. I seek clarification regarding ownership of my Gmail account to proceed accordingly. Any assistance on this frustrating matter is greatly valued. Sincerely, Marek Skultety

I need to update my phone number to receive the verification code via text message. The current number linked to my Gmail is [redacted], but my new number is [redacted]. If I could talk to a live representative, I believe I could provide the necessary proof of my identity.

I am facing an issue with receiving emails. I registered using my college email, and I did receive two welcome messages. However, I can only send emails and not receive them. I have checked a list of common problems to troubleshoot the issue but none of the suggested solutions have been helpful. This problem has persisted for three weeks now, and I have been unable to find a way to contact for assistance. Missing out on crucial information that impacts my academic grades due to this email problem is concerning.

I'm currently locked out of my Gmail account, and as I don’t have the Gmail app, I'm struggling to verify my ownership. I recently changed the password suspecting it was hacked, but now I can't remember the new password. My account is crucial as important services contact me through it. I'm open to providing identification and would like to close the account if I can't recover it to avoid any security issues. This situation is distressing, and being away from my usual location might complicate the verification process as Google may consider the location. My email address is [redacted], and I've created a temporary contact email meanwhile. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sean Macro

When sending out calendar invites for conference calls using third-party services, my own call-in information is included along with pre-populated call-in numbers and screen-share links, causing confusion for recipients. I do not use Google Hangouts and believed I had disabled it. How can I prevent this additional information from being auto-populated in the invitation messages?

My Gmail account is "[redacted]," but my name is Norman Agahan. This account originally belonged to my brother, but he gave it to me since he no longer uses it. However, when I tried to access it, the password had been changed, and I cannot recover the account as the recovery information is outdated. Being a busy college student with many responsibilities, I request your assistance in recovering my account. I can provide identification to prove that my brother and I are related and that Norman Agahan is our real name. Your help in returning my account would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

My email addresses [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] were all compromised and hacked. This happened after an individual I was with maliciously used my internet/wifi connection to install a worm. I discovered the worm, but was unable to remove it from my router. As a result, I made the decision to switch internet service providers (ISP) entirely. The situation escalated, making me a target and compelling me to relocate. I am concerned about the possibility of identity theft due to unauthorized access to my various accounts, several of which contain sensitive personal information. To mitigate this risk, I have enrolled in Identity Force and was alerted to a security breach on my old account [redacted], indicating a potential data exposure on Adobe's site dating back to October [redacted]. In addition, this account holds crucial attorney information, but I am currently unable to access it as the password has been altered without my consent.

Hello, I have a question regarding some unusual activity in my Gmail account. When I click on "Details" in the right-bottom corner, I see certain recent account activities that seem strange to me. The "Date/Time" section shows times when I wasn't actively using my Gmail, although it remained signed-in. However, the "Access Type" and "Location/IP address" appear normal. I am unsure why the "Date/Time" shows activity when I wasn't using my account. Does this indicate that someone else may have accessed my account during those times? Or could it be due to Gmail automatically refreshing when my computer is inactive? I would appreciate your assistance in clarifying this situation. Thank you for your help.
