We stayed at Radison Blue at the mall of America this past weekend for a wedding booked through Hotwire. Upon check in on Friday, we arrived at our room and not only was the room not clean, there was human ***** on the floor. We immediately went down to the front desk and informed the attendant and asked to speak with a manager. The front desk attendant was less than empathetic, Instead of the manager, we were given the corporate phone number and a different room. The new room was one floor up. The floor smelled of sewage, and the room was unclean (urine on the toilet, dust everywhere). I spoke with corporate about the situation with no resolution. I was placed on. Lengthy hold so they could speak with the Radison in which we were staying. He couldn’t get in touch with the hotel so I asked that he call me back. * hours later, the manager of the hotel called me, apologized and I nformed me that he could give me food or drink tickets or waive the cancellation fee if we wanted to switch hotels. At that time, we were in the midst of wedding stuff so we couldn’t switch hotels. He informed me that we would have to speak with Hotwire, who we booked through, to speak about a refund. **Later that night when we got back to the room, we ordered room service, we ordered late, **pm, we were told there would be a ** minute wait. After ** minutes, I called roomservice again and asked for an update on the food. We were informed that the order was never sent through. They re entered to food, said it would take ** minutes, ** minutes later, the food arrived at our door. The awful experience we had will assure that we will never stay at another Radison.
