The issue in GetHuman-wpwyman's own words
On Saturday August *, **** I made and received a confirmed reservation (* RGBG*RV) through Hotwire for * night at Radisson Hotel, Chelmsford, MA. Payment of $***.** was made at that time. Upon arrival at hotel was told they had no room and none were available. I called hotwire customer service and was told that the solution was for me to make another booking and I would be reimbursed the difference. Meanwhile out of pocket I would be out the money already paid plus the cost of the additional booking. It was * PM on Saturday night and my access to funds was limited. This solution was neither feasible nor acceptable. After speaking to both hotwire rep and supervisor and saying my likely alternative was to sleep in my car, I was offered an apology and a $** coupon. This is unacceptable. I held up my end of the bargain, hotwire did not. Whatever internal system*network issue that caused this to happen is no concern to me. Your response is. I will be seeking advice on further action contingent on your response to this communication.
