Get a service charge refund or credit ... rental *-** to *-** (case*********) I tried since **** to get info regarding the property we rented, first I emailed, the contact person “Yasmin” then as we got closer to the date I sent a text, then I tried calling, all went unanswered! I have called VRBO multiple times and was promised call backs or hung up on… still no answers about our $**** a week rental !! I did receive the key code so we arrived on the **th… the house was nice the beds were made, but when we (* adults, * children) went to grab a drink and go down to the beach we notice that there were only * small bags moof store bought ice cubes in the fridge…not even ice cube trays for us to make our own!!! We headed to the beach and found it hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, we had to find where the racks were kept to clean it ourselves (since the * kids with us are all * and under) … the grass was a bit long and * of the men got stung by something walking on the grass! We planned a big steak dinner that night and found only * lg dinner glass plates, * lg plastic plates and the rest were desert size and * steak knives (which we had to share).*There were a small amount of beach towels (which was supposed to be provided) This place slept ** so there should have been ** of everything we needed! The laundry detergent was empty, the soap dispenser in * of the baths had been watered down…. I finally get a call from Jasmins husband….he proceeded to tell me she had passed away on June * and only just saw my messages!!!!!*She was only ** !! I was so upset since I had been so mad about the way I had been treated, but none of this was his fault, they are in mourning! I feel that VRBO OWNS ME A REFUND for my service charge since no one provided any help before, during or after our stay! PLEASE REPLY TO MY REQUEST THIS TIME ! *I do not want to give this home owner a bad review he has had enough to deal with, I am just looking for a refund or credit of the $*** service charge because I absolutely did not get any services from VRBO or EVOLVE and I have a paper trail to prove it !
I found out while I was on vacation the the home owner had passed away and that was probably the reason the home lacked many of the necessities we needed for a home that cost $**** a week!

I have tried since **** … emails, texts and sooooooooooo many phone calls to both VRBO AND EVOLVE with promises to return my calls, to look into the situation etc… I have even been hung up on !!!! The customer service people have not been cooperative! The person I spoke to yesterday put me on hold and after ** minutes I got a recording saying “ The offices are now closed… please call back during regular business hours”. This was at *:** in the afternoon!
