Subject: Need to Reach Local United Airlines Baggage Staff at RIC Airport I have a United Airlines baggage file reference RIC49770M, and I just received a notification from my Apple Airtag that my bag is at RIC (Richmond International Airport, Virginia). I've been trying to contact the local United Airlines Baggage staff at RIC, but I can't seem to find any local phone numbers for direct assistance. Every number I've tried leads back to corporate United Airlines with lengthy hold times of up to 4 hours! I attempted to message through the United Airlines app, only to encounter a robot informing me of a 3-hour wait time. All I want is to speak with someone local to arrange for my bag to be delivered to our home. My luggage didn't make it from DCA to ORD on UA1424 on July 1. Even though I arrived early, the flight was delayed. The connecting flight UA [redacted] from ORD to FAR was over 2 1/2 hours late. Upon arriving in Fargo, my bag was missing, but no United staff were available to help me file a claim. The United App didn't provide any updates on my bag. After finally speaking to a United representative, I was informed my bag had just landed in ORD at 06:47. They mentioned attempting to put it on an earlier flight for delivery. However, I live 90 miles away from the airport. How can United ensure my bag is delivered to me considering the distance?

On the inbound flight, we faced delays in DFW causing us to miss the connecting flight to Cody, WY, resulting in all subsequent flights to Cody being canceled. Instead, we were rerouted to Billings, MO, where we had to rent a car at 2 am for $[redacted], with an additional $[redacted] for a one-way rental. Furthermore, our luggage was lost for two days, incurring a $[redacted] cost for replacement. Additionally, we lost two days of vacation time totaling $[redacted]. On the return trip from Cody to DFW, the 5:59 pm flight was delayed five times and eventually canceled at 2 am, leaving us without assistance, alternatives, food, or lodging. We had to stay in a hotel in downtown Denver for $[redacted] and sleep on the floor while waiting for a room, which was provided free of charge. The delays and cancellations led to an additional $[redacted] spent on food, $[redacted] on necessities due to the lost bags for two days, and $[redacted] for transportation to and from DIA. In total, we spent over $[redacted], while the tickets cost us $[redacted], all to fly United. It is unlikely that we will receive any compensation or reimbursement, but sharing this experience may help others make informed decisions about flying with United.

On Thursday morning, we departed from Florence, Italy, bound for Phoenix, Arizona. Our original plan involved a layover in Frankfurt, Germany, and then onto Toronto, Canada, before reaching Phoenix on Friday. Our initial flight was Lufthansa EN [redacted] from Florence to Frankfurt. Upon arrival in Frankfurt, we were notified that our Air Canada AC [redacted] to Toronto had been canceled. Subsequently, Air Canada rebooked us on flight AC [redacted] to Toronto on 6/30. Despite being informed our luggage had arrived in Toronto, we were advised not to claim it as it would be transferred to Chicago and then to United for the journey to Phoenix. Unfortunately, our Chicago flight was canceled, rerouting us through Denver before finally reaching Phoenix. Regrettably, upon arrival in Phoenix, our luggage was missing. A claim was lodged with United under number PHX 11037M. United mentioned our bags should be on a flight from Toronto arriving in Phoenix around 12:30 on Sunday. However, as of 3 PM today, our luggage is still unaccounted for. Assistance in locating our missing luggage would be greatly appreciated.

My flight from O'Hare Airport to Little Rock, AR was canceled, and the closest alternative was a flight to Nashville, TN. My boyfriend ended up having to make a 12-hour round trip to get me. We took turns driving overnight to make it back, as he had work the next morning. We tried to stay alert by consuming caffeine, although we realized it wasn't the safest option. I believe I should be compensated for the extra gas money and other expenses resulting from the additional eight hours of driving to finally reach our destination.

I am having an issue with my baggage. I flew from Serbia to Ketchikan via Chicago, where we experienced a cancelled flight. After two days, we flew to Denver. Once in Denver, I retrieved my baggage, which was then sent directly to Ketchikan to my company, E.C. Phillips and Son. Subsequently, I flew to Seattle and then to Ketchikan. However, upon arriving at the company, my baggage was not there, and neither were my colleagues'. Could you please assist in locating my baggage? It is labeled with an address in Ketchikan and my name, Filip Sadzakovic. I urgently need the baggage as I traveled from Serbia to work here and require my belongings.

My flight on June 29th was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Europe. After spending hours on hold and at the United customer service center at IAD, I was offered a solution that would significantly reduce my vacation time. I encountered multiple delays for my June 28 flight from Las Vegas, NV to Houston, TX. On April 6th, [redacted], my flight from Denver to Colorado Springs was canceled. It was rebooked for April 7, but that flight was also canceled. This was part of a round trip ticket from Spokane WA to Denver CO and then to COS. I didn't receive a ticket number as it was provided at the gate. Hello, I am writing to share our recent travel experience. Unfortunately, our flight on June 26th was canceled due to thunderstorms. We rescheduled and finally reached India on July 5th. However, our baggage was initially loaded on the canceled flight on June 26th and was not with us when we reboarded on July 3rd. United Airlines assured us they would send the missing bag but so far we have only received one of the two bags. Despite checking online, the status remains unchanged. I have tried contacting United Airlines via phone multiple times, but the wait times are long and I have had no success in resolving the issue.

My flight from Frankfurt was delayed, leading me to miss my connecting flight to Lagos and completely disrupting my schedule. I was rerouted to London on Lufthansa, then to Lagos on Virgin Atlantic. However, upon arriving in London Heathrow, I was informed that Virgin did not have a baggage agreement with United/Lufthansa, requiring me to retrieve my bags at Terminal 2 and check them in again. This process repeated itself. After being told my bags were checked through to Lagos, they did not arrive, causing significant disruption. United Airlines canceled my first-class flight on the day of travel, citing mechanical issues. Despite needing to fly that day, they offered only a coach ticket at the last minute and charged me $99 extra for legroom. They were unable to reroute me to a different airport just 27 miles away.
