I have one month of unpaid unemployment from March 16th, [redacted], to April 26th, [redacted]. I was told eight months ago that someone would follow up on this matter, but I have not received any communication via phone or email. My account reflects $6,[redacted] available for me to claim, but I cannot find where to claim it. In an attempt to reach out and resolve this, I accidentally initiated a new claim, only to have my entire account reset. I am growing increasingly frustrated as my patience wears thin. I understand the challenges caused by the global pandemic, and I recognize the high volume of inquiries unemployment offices are facing. Despite trying weekly for the past eight months to reach someone, I have only managed to connect twice.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my job loss due to Covid-19 in early January. I applied for unemployment nearly 7 months ago but have not received any funds. I was disqualified based on false return-to-work information; I have not worked since January [redacted]. I received End Disqualification notices, but the issue remains unresolved. After reapplying, my account shows Pending status for 10 weeks. I have 14 weeks listed as Disqualified incorrectly, causing financial strain as I am falling behind on bills. Repeated attempts to contact unemployment have been unsuccessful. Despite calling multiple times per day, I have not been able to speak with anyone. This situation is urgent, and I am unsure where else to turn. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I lost my job due to Covid in early January, and it has been almost five months since I applied for unemployment without receiving any funds. I was unjustly disqualified due to a supposed return to work issue, even though I haven't worked since January [redacted]. Although I've received End Disqualification notices, my account still shows Pending with ten weeks on hold and fourteen weeks as Disqualified. This false information is causing me to fall behind on all my bills, putting everything I've worked hard for at risk. Despite numerous attempts to contact unemployment, including 72 phone calls and being on hold for over two hours only to be disconnected, I have been unable to speak to anyone. I am desperate for assistance in resolving this serious situation as I am struggling to find help.

[redacted]: Claim #[redacted] for Martha Silcox is set to be closed on 6/28 due to detected fraud. The claim was initiated on 6/11 and locked on 6/14 with an email stating verification needed via ID ME. Despite confirming identity, the unlock email has not been received as promised within 3 business days. Customer Service has been contacted 11 times with no response. A letter received today (6/25) states the claim will close by 6/28 if no contact made. Urgent assistance is requested as the deadline approaches, considering the lack of response to previous attempts. This situation is deemed unfair, given the timely effort and verification on the customer's end. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated. Thank you.

I have called numerous times in the past year regarding a problem that has not been resolved despite being told to wait. I had my claim backdated to March [redacted] on one application, but I have not received the weeks needed to claim for the backdate. I am unsure of what my next steps should be as I cannot reach anyone over the phone. This issue is urgent as I have bills piling up that need to be paid.

I have not received payment for all the weeks I am owed, and my account remains locked despite verifying my identity multiple times. I have reached out through emails, the reemployment help center, and provided the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with copies of my social security card and driver's license. I have attempted to call the verification phone line multiple times from early morning to late afternoon, but have been unable to speak to a live person. I am eager to have my account unlocked so I can claim the past four weeks I have missed due to the lock. Additionally, I am still waiting for the other seven weeks that I was told I qualified for and would receive.

I am Jordan Hipp and I am having difficulty accessing The CONNECT online portal. I encounter long wait times, and once I am able to proceed, only the forms for agreeing and entering my claimant ID and password appear. I am unable to view pending weeks, apply for benefits, or address a pending adjudication issue. Contacting Florida DEO has been unfruitful as there are only robot responses with no helpful information. Governor DeSantis waived the work search requirement for the weeks I was last paid, but I mistakenly submitted additional forms before realizing this. Despite applying to multiple places daily, my financial situation is dire, with impending eviction and health issues. I am seeking clarity on receiving the remaining balance of my FPUC benefit, resolving the adjudication problem, and understanding the delays in processing my claims. Any assistance to help me apply for pending weeks and receive the remaining balance owed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering my situation. Hello, could someone please assist me with my unemployment claim? I've been locked out of my claim since January 21st, and I haven't received any benefits from January until now. I claimed 16 weeks in January before my account got locked, but I haven't received any payment for those weeks either. I've followed all the steps that the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) asked me to do, including completing my ID verification and submitting my ID and Social Security number. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my money. This situation has led me and my 3-year-old daughter to become homeless, hungry, and lost. I urgently need my benefits to survive. I've even reached out to Governor DeSantis, but sadly, he hasn't responded to my unemployment issue. I'm hoping someone can provide assistance. Thank you.

Contacting a human at the Florida Unemployment DEO offices has been impossible for over a year and a half, creating frustration for those seeking information. The CONNECT website lacks an email option for correspondence, compounding the issue. I've been attempting to file my weeks on CONNECT UI, but for the past three business days, I keep encountering a "Run Server Error" after waiting in the "Waiting Room" for over an hour each time, sometimes exceeding two hours. This error prevents me from accessing the site and claiming the income I am eligible for. It would be helpful for the website to display a message informing claimants of the situation.

Back in August, a representative changed my effective date while on the phone with me. Since then, I have encountered continuous issues. From September to January, I called a minimum of 15 times monthly due to not receiving payments. I managed to claim my weeks until mid-December, but after a quarterly review, I couldn't claim more weeks. In January, I was locked out and had to verify my identity, which took two months. By March, I received a lump sum for the weeks claimed between August to mid-December. Although my claims are now fixed, I've been unable to claim weeks from mid-December to March. I've escalated this issue three times to supervisors without resolution. Despite my persistence, I haven't been able to reach a live representative to address this ongoing problem. As someone usually patient, the delayed payments have put me in a difficult financial situation, exacerbated by health issues. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently a claimant for Florida Unemployment benefits. I encountered website technical issues when trying to claim for the two weeks ending July 2, [redacted], resulting in the forfeiture of my benefits. The website repeatedly failed to allow me to login, redirecting me back to the start of the process. Despite trying for five consecutive days leading up to the deadline, I was unsuccessful. My repeated calls went unanswered, leaving me unable to leave a message or speak to anyone. I diligently conducted a job search during those two weeks and now seek guidance on how to report it and claim my benefits for that period. Despite reaching out via email, I have not received any response yet.

I have been out of work since pandemic, exhausted my benefits, reapplied, and didn't receive any notifications regarding the extension. I looked for work but didn't record all my job searches as I didn't think it was necessary, only noted a couple. After over a month, I received a letter saying my account was exhausted. I reapplied again and explained my situation. Now my benefits are on hold, and it's hard to reach a live person at the unemployment office for assistance. I want to be honest and ensure there are no issues with my benefits. The last time this happened, they claimed I was incarcerated, which was not true and took six weeks to resolve. It's frustrating not to get a clear answer from them. I hope this gets sorted out soon.

In early March, I submitted a claim with some complications regarding a prior job's start date, which led to owing money. After clarifying the correct start date, I was informed my claim was approved. Benefit Payment Control was to clear my disqualifications and release payments, which was expected around April 14th. As July approaches its end, no payments have been received despite multiple attempts to contact them. I have called numerous times, exceeding [redacted] attempts in the past week alone, but have been unable to reach anyone. The calls abruptly end without the option to wait or request a callback, making it frustratingly challenging to get assistance. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Brittney Williams. I received an email from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) on Friday, May 14, informing me of changes to my account made using my SSN and PIN without my knowledge. I contacted them to reset my PIN after being locked out of my account, only to find my address, email, and phone number had been altered. Despite resetting my PIN, I was locked out again and asked to verify my identity using ID.me on May 17, which would take 3 business days to unlock my account. It has been a month now without access to my unemployment benefits. Despite numerous attempts by phone and email, I have not been able to reach an agent at the provided numbers [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] for help. I am deeply concerned about my compromised identity and the lack of assistance from the Florida department. This situation is distressing as my unemployment benefits are crucial for me during this period of unemployment. I seek assistance for my case and others facing similar issues. Thank you. Sincerely, Brittney S Williams

I am having trouble claiming my weeks for payment. I have $4,[redacted] available in one account and $6,[redacted] in another. The automated system indicated I could claim my weeks on August 2nd, but when I tried, there were no weeks available. This payment is crucial for me, and I rely on it to survive. Despite my need, I am unable to qualify for food stamps. It seems unfair when others, even someone in a penthouse on the 32nd floor of a downtown Ft. Myers condo, can access them. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue urgently. Please contact me at [redacted].

I encountered an issue with two benefit payments that were mistakenly sent to my closed bank account. Despite the bank sending the payments back to unemployment on 07/23/[redacted], I have been unsuccessful in resolving the matter. I have diligently contacted both the old financial institution, only receiving tracking numbers, and the unemployment office. Although I updated my bank account for future payments, I am still missing the two prior payments sent on July 22. Each day, I face challenges dealing with different representatives at unemployment. Some advise waiting for a specific period, while others are unhelpful. I am stuck in a cycle of making endless phone calls without any progress. My frustration is mounting as I cannot afford to wait any longer given my upcoming financial obligations. Any suggestions or contact information to expedite this process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

I am experiencing difficulties accessing My DEO account. Despite knowing my social security number and PIN, I am unable to log in after the system underwent the ID verification process. Following successful verification, I suspect my account may have been compromised. Efforts to reset my PIN have been unsuccessful. Despite various attempts using my social security number and PIN, or utilizing the "forgot pin" feature, I encounter the same message indicating my account has been temporarily locked due to failed login attempts. Following the guide provided does not resolve the issue as the reset PIN option does not work for me. Unfortunately, contacting support by phone has been unproductive as the system disconnects the call. I urgently require assistance to unlock my account to access and claim my weeks.

I didn't receive my backdated unemployment benefits for April and May of last year. A representative from the DEO filed claims on my behalf due to a name issue in the system. After several months, I reached out again only to find out my benefits had expired. I was then moved to emergency benefits as we waited for an extension to be signed. Eventually, I was told to switch back to the PUA plan to claim my overdue weeks. Once I did, I received $[redacted] from the government. However, Florida DEO only paid me a fraction of what they owed. When claiming my remaining weeks, they claimed I was overpaid and deducted $[redacted] from my benefits, despite me believing they actually owe me around $[redacted]. The DEO assured me it was a system error that would resolve itself, but it's frustrating to have this ongoing issue.

On 06/26/[redacted], I filed a claim and received a temporary password via email to access my account, which I changed as instructed. Subsequently, I was instructed to complete my Employ Florida registration using a temporary code, which I successfully did. However, after logging in a couple of times, I have been unable to access my account. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I have been informed that my social security number is not associated with a filed claim. When attempting to file a new claim, my original submission is displayed as "Submitted-Pending." Given my urgent financial situation, I am seeking assistance to address this issue promptly.

I am having trouble resetting my PIN. Whenever I try to follow the suggested steps, such as clicking on the "FORGOT MY PIN" button, I receive a message stating that I have attempted to log in too many times, even though it was my first attempt. I have completed all the ID.me requirements but have been unsuccessful in contacting anyone via phone, email, or the website. Consequently, I have missed out on 6-9 weeks of unclaimed federal bonus benefits. Please assist me. Thank you and God bless.
