Help with my Sprint issue

I recently leased a Samsung Galaxy S** on my daughter (LaKisha Pindell's) family plan. Not satisfied with the product at all -- expected it to be much more user friendly. I have not been able to send text messages for more than ** hours now and have not been able to resolve the issue via following Samsung instructions on-line. Can you assist me with this? Also, is it possible exchange this product for another -- I've only had it for about * weeks. Not even sure I even want to stay with Sprint -- usually an instruction manual comes with most products?

It automatically resumed sending text messages after about ** hours* however, this was very inconvenient and should not happen on what is reportedly such a high caliber Samsung product.**Francine Easton
