I recently switched laptops and I'm unable to access my Skype account. When attempting to reset the password, it requires verification via a text message to the outdated cell phone number on file. My Skype username is celcia.he and the outdated number is [redacted]. I no longer have access to that number and there seems to be no other verification option available. I've been attempting to access my account multiple times today. However, when I request a code to be sent to my email after forgetting my password, I never receive it. Now, when I try once more, Skype informs me that I have reached the limit for today and to try again tomorrow. I'm worried that the situation won't improve tomorrow. Assistance would be appreciated.

In April/May [redacted], I noticed my bank account being charged monthly by Skype for £6.00 without my consent, as I never provided my bank details to Skype. Despite cancelling my account in November [redacted] and being assured it was deleted, I recently received an email extending the account until August [redacted]. I have made efforts to delete and cancel the account but without success. I have contacted the account team via email requesting an immediate account cancellation due to an error that needs to be rectified promptly. To whom it may concern, I recently noticed a charge for a Skype Number on my account that I was not anticipating. I did not receive any prior notification regarding this charge and only became aware of it through a notification on my device. I do not have a use for the Skype Number and believe this renewal was made in error. I would appreciate a refund to be processed back to the card that was originally charged for the Skype Number. I have a 12-month subscription for unlimited calls in the US and Canada. I recently updated my credit card information and changed my US address. I am currently in China and unable to access the customer service chat on the website. My username is highlandera981 and my subscription is set to renew on 02/18/[redacted]. I received an email from Skype stating that my credit of $24.71 will become inactive soon due to inactivity. I am unable to access this account but have opened a new one with a $10 deposit. I canceled my account in [redacted], but I am continuously charged annually for a Canada/US calling plan on the 24th of February. Despite multiple cancellation requests, these charges persist on my Mastercard. I have never received a reimbursement as I notice the charges after the payment is made. My Skype (hokiduonu) is experiencing difficulties receiving incoming video from a specific contact (baaarbieeeee), who is located in Ukraine. Both parties can hear each other, but the video feed is not working properly. This issue has been ongoing for approximately three weeks. Interestingly, other Skype calls work fine for both of us with different contacts. I am having trouble accessing Skype due to password and email issues. Despite entering my email, it indicates the email is already in use and prompts me to try another. I am hesitant to use a different email address. Skype promised to contact me via telephone for a new password, but no call was received. This is urgent as I have an important conference scheduled with my doctor, VA, and attorney. I had success using Skype previously. Even though I received a new password via email, I encounter an error stating there are not enough characters when I input it. Today, I used my wife's credit card to add 5 euros to my Skype calling credit. However, after completing the transaction, the Skype app displayed that the balance wasn't updated. When I tried to add more credit, the option disappeared. Later on, I attempted the same transaction on my laptop with no success. Checking the credit card charges revealed that both transactions went through, totaling 10 euros. Despite this, my Skype account did not reflect the added funds. I am currently in Belgium and would appreciate having the 10 euros credit in my Skype account. If this is not feasible, I kindly request a refund. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently encountered an issue when my credit card linked to my Skype account expired. Upon trying to update the payment information, I realized that the email address associated with my ID "silverfox94" was outdated, listed as "[redacted]" To access my account, I was prompted to sign in as "Roy Barber" with the correct email "[redacted]" Unfortunately, I am unable to receive the verification code for "silverfox94" as I no longer have access to the old email. Consequently, I've lost access to all my previous chats and many important phone numbers.
