Hello all,**I am reaching out to all (Travelcation and Porter Airline) to complain about the charges during our check-in on BookingID: TCB***** this morning at Ottawa international airport and to request a return for these unfair charges.*At the point of booking the flight on ** May **** for myself and my son, I was aware that they were no check-in baggage allowance. Hence I contacted Travelcation to confirm the carry-on bag allowance, and they confirmed that my son and I were allowed to have a carry-on bag of up to *kg individually for the trip. Based on this confirmation, we planned our trip and brought one carry-on*person.**However, on getting to the airport this morning, the agent ( named Colleen) from Porter Airlines responsible for our check-in refused to accept our carry-on bag and insisted on charging for the two carry-on as checked-in bags for a total sum of $**.** CND. She further informed that our booking didn't cover carry-on bags. This is unfair, unacceptable and inconsistent with the previous information when booking the flight.**When I insisted that the agent should show me the booking details from her system, she informed me that she had limited access to information on the booking details. Even my credit card details were manually written out by her for the associated charges (see the attached receipt). She further asked me to contact travelcation and the airline. Upon contacting travelcation customer assistant, the agent I spoke to this morning informed me that the carry-on bag decisions were up to Porter Airlines. Again, this information contradicts the confirmation on the carry-in that was made available to me on the day I booked the flight. Hence, I believe the charges I was subjected to this morning during our checking-in were unacceptable and a ripoff.**Therefore, I am requesting a full refund for the charges for the two carry-on bags at the airport today, ** July ****, because I was surely informed that my booking allowed us a carry-on up to *kg* person. Still, we were charged for checked-in baggage on those carry-on instead.**I have attached my booking details, e-ticket, a receipt for further review, and a fair refund.**Please treat it as urgent.** **Kind regards,**Nkechi McNeil-Ayuk************
