On September 29th, [redacted], I received an email automatically charging my credit card for the renewal of my Malwarebytes Basic one-year subscription. Since my computer had to be wiped clean by MicroCenter on January 25th, [redacted], and they installed Eset, I did not expect this charge. MicroCenter does not use Malwarebytes, and I was not notified by email about the upcoming renewal. I found a phone number that turned out to be fake, leading me to a person claiming to be from Malwarebytes. I want the $43.19 charged to my credit card refunded, as I do not use Malwarebytes anymore. It's unsettling that there was no valid contact information in the renewal notice for situations like this. - Lois Kaye

I have been a loyal customer of MWB with a Never Ending Subscription for PC coverage. Recently, I moved to a new address and changed my email due to switching ISPs, but I encountered issues with updating my information. Despite contacting MWB in July [redacted] to make these changes, I faced difficulties when trying to purchase additional coverage using my new email and password. The error message indicated that my account was not found in the system, prompting me to reach out to Malwarebytes Support. After submitting two support requests, I received two separate ticket numbers from MWB but have not received any email responses in over 10 days. One ticket was closed without any contact, while the other is still awaiting a response. Unfortunately, I am unable to contact MWB directly as the only available method is through their website using email, password, and a security code. Without MWB's support, I risk losing my existing PC coverage and MacBook Pro protection. Additionally, the billing company Cleverbridge requires invoice numbers, which I do not have due to misplacing invoices during the move. Despite providing my license key for PC coverage to MWB for verification, I am still unable to resolve the email address change without their support.

A year ago, I signed up for a free trial service. Now, a year later, I recently discovered an account for a premium service that I was unaware of. Upon reviewing the account, I learned that I need to purchase the service to activate the account. I initially thought it was supposed to be free, which was my mistake. They have already deducted nearly $50 from my bank account. Being 81 years old, I am unable to afford this expense. Can this issue be resolved? If not, I would prefer to forfeit the funds and discontinue this service. Consider it a lesson learned.

On November 25, [redacted], I purchased a 4.0 Malwarebytes Premium program from Best Buy for up to 3 devices. Despite successfully downloading and using the software, I have not received a License Number or been able to access my account. I contacted Malwarebytes Support on November 23 and November 25 to no avail. Melinda from support emailed me on November 27 and again on November 28 stating that she would send a new Verification Code to create a new password and access my account. Regrettably, Melinda did not include the needed Verification Code in either email despite my requests to resend it. I have not received a response or the Verification Code yet. I kindly request the Verification Code so I can access my account and complete the necessary tasks. I will have time to do this on Tuesday, November 29, [redacted]. Thank you. - M.P. at [redacted]

I received an email indicating action needed to remain secure. Due to my limited computer skills and a past experience with identity theft, I prefer Malwarebytes to renew my premium subscription before it expires on 12/19/22. A recent email stated I would be billed $39.99 on 12/19/22 using the payment method ending in the last 4 digits. I don't understand why further action is required when you have the necessary details. Could you please proceed with the renewal as indicated without additional steps from me? I am uncomfortable navigating websites and would like to speak with a customer service representative for guidance. Please reach out to me for assistance.

I tried to buy Malwarebytes, but the system didn't recognize my email. After trying a different email, I had issues with my password. On the third try, the purchase went through, but I never received the activation key. To my surprise, I realized I was charged $39.99 three times without successfully getting Malwarebytes. My name is Alfred Clarke, and the Card Number ended in [redacted]. The emails I used were [redacted] and [redacted] I kindly request a refund for the extra charges and assistance in obtaining the product.

I am trying to find a way to get a refund for the premium service I signed up for with Malwarebytes. Following the suggestions on their website has not been helpful, and it seems like they are unreachable. I feel frustrated not being able to access the service I paid for and concerned about not getting my money back. It seems like there is no one available to talk to about this issue, making me feel even more dissatisfied. I hope to resolve this soon and receive the refund I am entitled to.

I have received a bill for Malwarebytes that was automatically updated. Despite trying numerous troubleshooting steps, the program still doesn't work. When I attempted to view my account, the payment was not reflected, causing frustration. I also encountered an error when trying to stop the automatic renewal, compounding my dissatisfaction. After sending several messages without a response, I am requesting a refund. The reference number for the subscription is [redacted].

I tried adding an app for exclusion to Malwarebytes but couldn't complete the process. Malwarebytes indicated my subscription had expired. Previously, when I was hacked by a scammer posing as Malwarebytes, I spoke with a representative named "Tom" who provided me with the number [redacted], which is now canceled. I attempted to reach out via Google search but both numbers are invalid. I am not very savvy with computers and really need my Malwarebytes up and running. If possible, please provide me with a reliable contact number. Additionally, I require assistance setting up necessary tools to resolve this issue. I came across a phone number that claimed to be from Malwarebytes for subscription renewal, but my phone identified it as a scam and automatically deleted the call each time.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, On December 22, I attempted to renew Malwarebytes on my wife's iPhone 6s. I purchased the download for €35.90 [redacted] However, upon trying to activate the Malwarebytes anti-virus on her iPhone, we were denied activation due to software incompatibility. Surprisingly, the renewal for one device was automatically activated on her Samsung tablet. Our bank statement shows charges of €35.99 and twice for €39.99 on December 22, [redacted], under Transfer ID Card reference X0779 24/12 2CO.COM*MALWAREBYTES in the Netherlands. I appreciate your product and support but kindly request a refund for the two debits of €39.99 or €79.98 back to my account. I eagerly await your response. Regards, J.C. BEZIEUX

On 12/20/[redacted], I made a payment of $43.49 to Malwarebytes. I was informed that the renewal fee would increase next year. To access this information in my account, I navigated to VISIT ACCOUNT - OVERVIEW - BILLING, which aligns with my records. In the same section, it indicates that my next renewal will be automatic on December 20, [redacted]. Despite this, I have been receiving notifications about a late renewal payment, starting just before I renewed my account over the phone. Originally listed as Professional, my account has been downgraded to the "FREE SERVICE." I am requesting that my service level be reinstated to the top tier and would also like a refund for the past 30 days back to the free service level. Malwarebytes provides excellent service, except for the scammers selling lifetime subscriptions at exorbitant prices ranging from $[redacted] to $[redacted]. Despite this, their customer service is commendable as they answer the phone rather than relying solely on automated systems.

I bought a basic account yesterday but had trouble activating it. Today, I'm frustrated and no longer want the product. Please refund the charged amount. When I attempt to create an account, it says I'm already registered. If I try to reset my password, it claims otherwise. I suspect an attempt to upgrade me to Premium, which I don't want. Please provide the basic account I paid for without complications, as I struggle with computers, or cancel it and refund me.

I've had Malwarebytes for several years. I recently decided not to renew due to budget reasons. Despite this, I received a call from what seemed to be a local office where I mentioned that I might consider using Malwarebytes again in the future but that for now, I did not want to renew. I have just checked my American Express statement and noticed that I have been charged for the renewal. Could you please refund the charges as I did not intend to renew, and cancel the service. After my ASUS laptop was serviced at the ClickAway shop in Sunnyvale, they installed MalwareBytes Premium 4.5.26, which they charged me for. When I open the app and check the Accounts tab, it displays the License Key as activated and states that it expires in [redacted] days. However, there seems to be an issue with my subscription as it is not showing up under My Account. I noticed three charges from 2COCOM on my bank statement, totaling $38.24, $44.99, and $44.99. I believe there should only be one charge of $38.24 showing. Furthermore, my bank statement shows two charges from JUSTANSWER: $1.00 and $55.00. I think I should only have one $1.00 charge. It seems I mistakenly signed up for autopay and am now requesting refunds for the extra charges on my account. I am sorry for the confusion and appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I am currently a Malwarebytes Premium subscriber. On April 1st, I received an email promoting Worldbytes. On April 2nd, I mistakenly placed an order for what I thought was Worldbytes, a 2-year subscription charged $81.79 to my credit card. My reference number is [redacted]74. I later discovered that I already have a similar service and have not activated the new one. I kindly request a refund of $81.79 to my credit card. Thank you. - George E. Davy
