My Lufthansa flight was canceled due to COVID-19, but I was not informed of the new ticket number issued by the airline for my rescheduled travel. When contacting my agent, they mentioned reserving the funds for a future trip. Consequently, I booked an Ethiopian Airlines flight back to Canada. In December, when attempting to reschedule, I was informed by the agent that they no longer had control over the ticket. After reaching out to the agent, they provided me with the ticket number ([redacted][redacted]) and suggested contacting the airline directly as they no longer managed the ticket. Despite numerous attempts, reaching Lufthansa's customer service has been challenging. I have been dealing with this situation for months and still wish to utilize my flight credit, considering it was the airline that canceled the original flight.

Good morning, I have booked 2 flights with Lufthansa from Hamburg to Triest on the 30th of April [redacted] with booking code: OPTTYF for Sarah Ebadi and OQIVRF for Mojahed Ebadi. The flight was changed once by you, and we only have 1 hour to transfer in Frankfurt. I am concerned about missing the second flight from Frankfurt to Triest as I have further travel plans from Triest. Is it possible to change our flight from Hamburg to Frankfurt to 2 hours earlier to ensure we arrive on time for the next flight? I have tried reaching out to you multiple times, but unfortunately have not been successful. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response. You can reach me at [redacted] Best regards, Sarah Ebadi

Hello, good morning. I am Shahidullah Sharar writing from Saudi Arabia. I had my first experience flying with Lufthansa and was eagerly looking forward to it. Despite hearing positive reviews from family and friends, I was disappointed as all my Lufthansa flights were delayed. The first one was SEA to FRA Flight No: LH0491, then FRA to RUH Flight No: LH0636, which caused me to miss my Flyadeal flight X1 [redacted] to Medina, resulting in added expenses, time wasted, and stress. I had to scramble to find another flight to my final destination, Medina, and had to pay extra for a business class seat on Saudi Airline Flight No: SV1469 since I was on a tight schedule from Canada. I am requesting first-class seats or business class, as my connecting Lufthansa flights back to Canada are on April 30th. I hope for a satisfactory resolution and understanding from the reputable airline, Lufthansa. Thank you.

When departing from Lyon (FR) to Frankfurt (GER) on October 16, [redacted], then from Frankfurt (GER) to Houston, TX, and finally from Houston, TX to Austin, TX, we encountered a situation in Frankfurt where the airline agent rebooked us on a flight to Washington without notifying us, claiming our Frankfurt to Houston flight had already departed. On my return date of April 10, [redacted], upon arriving at Austin, TX airport for Flight No:[redacted], the Austin to Frankfurt leg was canceled, followed by the Frankfurt to Lyon flight being canceled as well without any prior confirmation from Lufthansa. While waiting with my wife at Austin, TX airport, we had to endure the inconvenience of being placed on another flight the next day without proper communication from your company. Is this level of service acceptable? Blaming customers is not always the solution, as seen with the agents at the airport counter.

Hello, my family faced an issue during boarding as your employee seemed uninformed about premium or economy class. It caused confusion because there was no clear indication whether they were in regular economy or premium class. Due to a knee problem, my family paid extra for suitable seating. It's frustrating that the staff appeared untrained and my family ended up in regular economy despite the additional payment. Who will reimburse the extra charges for this mistake? When speaking with them over the phone, they mentioned only two available seats but why were there discrepancies? I seek clarification on this matter and assurance on their transit plans. I may share their boarding passes if necessary. Please address this concern promptly.

Subject: Issue with Ticket Upgrade and Downgrade I had purchased a return business class ticket for my daughter Sharon N. on Lufthansa, costing $6,[redacted].81. However, she was downgraded to a coach seat on Air Canada, causing her to miss an important event due to discomfort. I am seeking a refund for the price difference between the business class and coach fare. Your prompt response is appreciated. Thank you, Morrie Neiss

Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out regarding my booking UF9LPD, which was put on hold last August with the option to change it until June 22nd of the following year. I have been attempting to contact a representative from Lufthansa since October [redacted] via various means such as email, telephone, Miles&More-Account, travel agencies, and Lufthansa live chat but have had no success. Despite setting multiple deadlines for Lufthansa to reach out, I have not received a response, except for a suggestion to call the hotline. Frustrated by the lack of communication, I am now considering involving my legal protection insurance. My main objective is to smoothly travel with my family from Munich to Mykonos on June 4th, [redacted], and return on June 18th, [redacted], without incurring any extra expenses beyond the €[redacted] I have already paid. I urgently seek resolution and hope for a prompt and effective correspondence. Best regards, Thomas L. Email: [redacted] Mobile: [redacted]

Dear Lufthansa, I have been attempting to obtain a refund for a reservation I made on January 21, [redacted], for a flight from Barcelona to Rhodes that you canceled without notice on February 18, [redacted]. Despite your email on February 18 promising a refund of [redacted] euros within two months, as of April 27, I have not received it. I have corresponded with Natalia Montoya from [redacted], who has been unhelpful and vague about the status of my refund. I have requested the company's address in Barcelona, the relevant department, and the name of the responsible person to prepare a formal complaint due to the lack of communication and professionalism. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter. Sincerely, Francisco G. T. [redacted]

Dear Sir, I recently made a reservation with Lufthansa for a trip from Amman to Frankfurt on 1 May [redacted], continuing to Montreal on the same day. However, for the return trip on 5 May [redacted], I mistakenly booked a flight from Montreal to Munich, then Munich to Frankfurt, and finally Frankfurt to Amman on 6 May [redacted]. I'm unsure about visa requirements for a trip with two stops and would like to make a change to my returning flight. I wish to rebook the flight from Montreal to Frankfurt, while keeping the original flight from Frankfurt to Amman unchanged. Essentially, I want to cancel the Montreal to Munich leg and replace it with Montreal to Frankfurt, also canceling the Munich to Frankfurt segment. My booking code is L73L6F and ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. Best Regards.

I am writing to seek assistance with my upcoming Lufthansa flight from Mumbai to Newark on May 6th, [redacted]. Originally booked on United Airlines, my flight was transferred to Lufthansa due to the cancellation of the United flight. The Lufthansa itinerary does not include baggage details. After reaching out to Lufthansa, they directed me to United Airlines, stating the baggage information is not in their system. United Airlines mentioned they arranged the rebooking and provided the itinerary, and it is now up to Lufthansa to provide the baggage information in line with their policy for flights from Mumbai, India, to Newark, USA. Despite contacting Lufthansa customer service multiple times, the baggage details remain unconfirmed. I kindly request prompt confirmation of the baggage details as per Lufthansa's policy to avoid any issues during check-in. My travel date is quickly approaching, so your immediate attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I returned from my recent trip almost two weeks ago and I want to share my disappointment with the experience I had with Lufthansa. I booked a flight from Manchester to Cairo and back, specifically LH [redacted] on the 1st of April. Upon arriving at the airport three hours early, I encountered chaos. The check-in process was incredibly slow due to understaffing, causing delays throughout. Despite reaching the security check-in, I missed the flight along with seven other passengers, because the pilot decided to offload our luggage. Despite promises from Lufthansa representatives to assist, all they offered was a rebooking. The lack of empathy and assistance continued when told I would have to wait until the following day for the next flight without any accommodation provided. After enduring over 24 hours without sleep and sleeping on the airport floor, I was met with further delays when checking in for my rescheduled flight. The rude and unhelpful behavior persisted, even when the luggage did not arrive with me in Cairo. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The lack of concern, assistance, and empathy from Lufthansa staff throughout this ordeal leaves me feeling let down and disheartened.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing on behalf of Zechao Xu regarding two booked tickets. The first ticket, Locator: 2WT2IN, is for me with the email [redacted] and phone number [redacted]5. The second ticket, Locator: 2TVNNQ, is for my boyfriend, Shaoquan Hou, with the email [redacted] and phone number [redacted]9. On April 25th, we contacted Lufthansa USA to reserve two pet tickets in the cabin. We paid online with an Amex card and received a successful payment receipt. Despite this, we did not receive any confirmation letter for our plane or pet tickets. We followed up with USA customer service on May 3rd, where an officer mentioned our pet ticket was not approved but assured us it would be sent within 6 hours. However, we have yet to receive any email or confirmation. It is concerning that others who booked tickets after us have received confirmations, but we have not. We seek assistance in understanding why our pet ticket has not been approved and how to proceed. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Zechao

Hello, I recently received an email from Lufthansa dated 5/6/[redacted] regarding changes to my YYC to BEY round-trip flight. Despite multiple attempts to contact Lufthansa's customer service in Canada, I have been unable to reach anyone for assistance with my UOZ3BO booking code. Unfortunately, one leg of my return flight from FRA to YYC has been completely canceled without a replacement. I urgently require an alternative flight for the canceled FRA to YYC segment, as I must return to Calgary and cannot remain in Frankfurt. I have paid for the entire round-trip journey, and I am seeking clarification on the resolutions being offered. I kindly ask that Lufthansa address this matter promptly and provide a resolution. Thank you.

Hello Lufthansa, I recently made a booking with the code: Q2RWNB for Ms. Premila Louis, paying £[redacted].51 on 5.9.[redacted]. This morning, around 11:45 am, I booked a flight and received a confirmed ticket indicating "Economy Light" with 0 check-in luggage allowed. Due to the significance of my trip to India after 5 years, I require check-in luggage for an international flight. Could you kindly assist me in including check-in luggage? Additionally, I would like to confirm whether the allowance is 23 kgs or 30 kgs. Thank you for your help.

I am requesting a refund for seat reservations I paid for directly through Lufthansa and did not use. The original flight I booked through Expedia with Lufthansa was canceled and our travel date was changed. Due to the significant change in travel plans, Expedia canceled our reservation and refunded the trip cost. I am now seeking a refund from Lufthansa for the seat reservations I paid for directly to them. The confirmation number for this booking is 2LYCX5.

I am deeply disturbed by the recent events involving Lufthansa airline denying Orthodox Jews passage on my flight. As a Holocaust Studies teacher in New York City, I find it troubling that such collective punishment reminiscent of Nazi practices could occur in [redacted], particularly by a German airline. The presence of armed policemen with rifles preventing Jews from boarding and the discriminatory actions taken against those who were following the rules are unacceptable. This behavior reeks of racism and antisemitism. Lufthansa should be held accountable for these appalling actions.

I booked a flight with Lufthansa from Birmingham to Koh Samui via Bangkok. Thailand required a sealed flight from Bangkok to Koh Samui due to Covid, but Lufthansa didn't include this initially. They transferred our flight to KLM, and we got a new itinerary with the sealed route. However, closer to the travel date, the last leg to Koh Samui was removed from our itinerary. I contacted Lufthansa who stated they shouldn't have shifted us to KLM as they aren't Star Alliance. Lufthansa couldn't find us another flight and instead suggested we book the final leg with Bangkok Air. Bangkok Air mentioned only airlines could book on sealed routes. Lufthansa informed me we had to pay [redacted] pounds each for them to book seats, which we couldn't afford. We had to reluctantly cancel for a partial refund. Despite numerous emails and calls, Lufthansa hasn't been responsive, insisting I contact customer relations for help.

On May 13, [redacted], I traveled from Zagreb to Frankfurt and then to Basel. My flight from Zagreb was supposed to depart at 14:35, and I was supposed to arrive in Frankfurt at 16:10. The connecting flight to Basel was scheduled for 17:00 from Frankfurt. However, a significant issue occurred as the plane in Zagreb was delayed exactly within the timeframe I had to make the check-in for Basel, which was 50 minutes. We departed from Zagreb around 15:25 and landed in Frankfurt around 16:45. By the time we got off the plane and collected our luggage, it was already 16:55. I arrived at the airport exactly at 17:00, meaning my flight to Basel had already departed. The ticket cost 2,[redacted].38 kn and I had to wait for the next flight to Basel at 21:20 in Frankfurt, which was a 4-hour and 20-minute difference from the originally scheduled flight. This caused me significant problems and inconvenience. I believe it is fair for you to refund at least part of the money as the fault was on your end. It is important to be understanding and responsible in such situations.

Dear Lufthansa, I purchased 4 round-trip tickets from Bologna to Gothenburg on 21.10.[redacted] with booking code PVBSOO. The tickets were paid for by Maura Mandolesi through PayPal (mauramandolesi51@ gmail.com). I am awaiting your response. Kind regards.
