I traveled on LH Flight [redacted] from Frankfurt to O'Hare last night, seated in 46H on the right side of the plane with registration number YG. The flight arrived in Chicago after 21:00. Upon arriving home, I realized my full-size iPad with a red cover was missing. I suspect I left it under seat 46H on the plane. I kindly request assistance in locating it before the aircraft departs Chicago. Thank you, Walter S.

I have a flight scheduled for September 17th from Mumbai to Munich with booking code U2QQX9 for my husband and me. We paid for specific seats 41C/41B but it seems that these seats have not been reserved. I encountered a similar issue on my previous flights between Toronto and Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Bombay. I would appreciate it if you could ensure that the seats I booked and paid for are blocked on my upcoming flight.

While traveling from Newark, NJ, USA to Central Europe, I encountered an issue with my luggage upon arriving in Warsaw, Poland. Upon inspection, I found cracks and missing parts in my baggage wheels, making it difficult to transport. As this is the beginning of a long trip through multiple countries, I had to purchase new luggage, incurring unexpected expenses. I am interested in filing a claim for this inconvenience and can provide all necessary documentation upon my return home. Thank you in advance for addressing this matter.

I was denied boarding on a Lufthansa flight that I had paid for 2.5 months in advance. I completed online check-in on my phone and received a mobile boarding pass with a "waiting list" seat assignment. Despite arriving at the airport early, I was not given a boarding pass with a seat assignment in time for the flight, which I missed. This was the only flight available to get me home, and I now understand I am entitled to full passenger rights compensation. I have already emailed customer relations and would appreciate guidance on the best approach and talking points to secure the compensation.

I, along with my two sisters, were redirected to a Lufthansa flight from Dublin to Munich on August 22, [redacted]. Unfortunately, our three pieces of luggage did not make it to Germany during our 10-day trip. Two of the missing bags, with files MUCLH85110 and MUCLH85112, were eventually recovered and returned to us post-holiday. However, one bag, with file MUCLH8511, is still missing. I am struggling to contact someone who can correct the description of this missing bag, which has unique features like 2 1/8" ribbons and gold-colored ric rac tied to the handles. I have receipts for all the purchases we had to make for clothes and toiletries during our stay, as well as a list of items in the missing suitcase. I am eager to send this information to the appropriate party for reimbursement, but so far, I have not received any updates.

Dear Sir, I, Dr. Yasmine Wafa, traveled on Lufthansa flights on 2 Sep and 8 Sep. On 8 Sep, I took LH [redacted] from Birmingham, UK, departing at 6:10. I arrived early, but the staff came late at 4 AM. Despite being first in line, the check-in process was unpleasant. I was asked to weigh my bags, and the staff member was rude and racist, insisting on extra fees for my handbag and backpack. I had to shift items between bags to comply. Furthermore, I lost important documents during the chaos, including receipts and a debit card. I seek a refund of the extra charges and compensation for my lost items. I appreciate the assistance of a helpful staff member during my search for the lost items. I request a review of this incident and the outcomes. Best Regards, Dr. Yasmine W.

The journey details are as follows: Palma Mallorca to Frankfurt (LH [redacted]) with registered Baggage LH668501, Frankfurt to Tunisia (LH [redacted]). Upon arrival in Tunis, my baggage was not there. I reported it missing at the airport and after several trips, I finally retrieved it today. I kindly request a refund for this distressing experience with Lufthansa. Best Regards, Sami O. Mob: [redacted][redacted].

Hello, My name is Davide Forestali, and I missed my flight on Friday, August 16, [redacted], from Frankfurt to Rio de Janeiro (booking code: TYTIIW, flight number: LH289). I arrived at the gate at 18:25 for a boarding time of 18:30, assuming the boarding time was later due to past experiences. When I asked about boarding at 18:45, I was informed everyone was already on board, and I had missed it, even though the flight had not yet departed. Although it was my mistake for missing the flight, I'm concerned about the boarding process and the lack of communication. I was initially told at the ticket kiosk that I needed a new return ticket for the next day, which I purchased. However, after contacting Lufthansa, I learned I could have used the return flight and only needed a one-way ticket. I would appreciate a discount on my next Lufthansa flight as a gesture of goodwill, considering the confusion and inconvenience I experienced. It would benefit both of us, as I would choose Lufthansa over other airlines in the future. Best regards, Davide

To whom it may concern, I would like to bring to your attention a recent experience I had while traveling with Lufthansa. On 10/20/[redacted], my wife and I purchased two tickets under the names F.J. and A. Olivero with Booking No. KLFQCI for a flight from Boston to Copenhagen, Denmark with a connection in Frankfurt, Germany. Unfortunately, on the day of our journey, 8/22/[redacted], we were informed that our flight LH [redacted] was delayed from 10:05 pm to 01:00 am (8/23/[redacted]), causing us to miss our connecting flight to Copenhagen. Despite having initially booked extra legroom seats for an additional $[redacted].00 each, we were allocated different seats on the alternative flight LH [redacted], which were not of comparable comfort as promised. When we expressed our concerns to the flight supervisor about the discrepancy in seating, we were informed that there was nothing that could be done to rectify the situation. We were advised to contact Lufthansa's customer service department for a full refund of the extra legroom charges and compensation for the inconvenience caused by the flight change. We are hopeful that Lufthansa will address our concerns in good faith and refund the $[redacted].00 we paid for the upgraded seats, as well as additional compensation for the discomfort and miscommunication we experienced during our journey. Sincerely, F.J. and A. Olivero

To Whom It May Concern, I'm currently stationed in Germany with the US Air Force. My recent flight from Germany to Boston on the 14th was disappointing as my family, including my 8-year-old daughter, were seated in three different sections of the aircraft. This experience was frustrating, especially considering the lack of assistance from the customer service representative at gate Z69. Our flight was LH0422. Now, when trying to secure seats together for the return trip, I was surprised to find that there was a $[redacted] charge for seat selection. I believe these seats should be complimentary to ensure families can sit together. I am upset with the treatment of military travelers, particularly those with young family members. I plan to share my experience with others in Germany and consider filing a Congressional complaint upon my return. I am requesting a refund for the seat selection fees on my return flight, flight LH0423. Thank you.

Subject: Issue with Ticket Reservation - Booking Code OFQDAF Dear Customer Service, I am writing to you via email as I have been unable to receive a clear resolution regarding my concern by calling your customer service center. On the 3rd of September, I made a booking for 4 flight tickets from Copenhagen to Paris under the booking code OFQDAF, under the name of Tatjana Marinkovic. I have paid [redacted] Danish crowns for these tickets, which was debited from my bank account. On the 13th of September, Lufthansa deducted [redacted] DKK for one ticket, and then on the 16th of September, they deducted 3 times [redacted] DKK, ultimately covering the cost of all four tickets. However, the total amount of [redacted] DKK is still being held by Lufthansa, causing an issue with my bank account. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with both your company and my bank, Nordea Bank in Denmark, I have not received a satisfactory explanation or solution. I kindly request that you release the reserved funds from my account promptly, as my bank is unable to do so without Lufthansa's authorization. I am surprised and disappointed by this situation with a reputable company like Lufthansa. I expect a prompt response to address and resolve this matter. If further clarification is needed, please do not hesitate to contact me or Nordea Bank in Denmark. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, Tatjana Marinkovic, Denmark

Hello. I encountered an issue during our return flight with my parents who have special needs. We had specifically purchased tickets for a direct flight due to their health concerns. However, upon reaching the gate in Germany with the necessary assistance and little time in between, we were informed that the flight was overbooked and there were no available seats for us. We were then rebooked on a connecting flight, causing us to arrive in Seattle late at night instead of at noon as planned. Additionally, my parents had to pay $[redacted] for their carry-on due to a few extra pounds, along with an additional $[redacted] for a second checked bag, totaling $[redacted] in extra fees. I am seeking a refund for the carry-on fee and for the inconvenience of being placed on a flight with a connection instead of our initial direct flight.

I had a round-trip ticket from Atlanta, USA to Ankara, Turkey with a departure on 8/20/[redacted] and return on 9/17/[redacted]. While at the Atlanta airport, I was informed of a flight delay to Chicago due to bad weather, prompting me to fly to Washington DC to catch my connecting flight to Munich. Unfortunately, bad weather also caused a delay for the flight from DC to Munich, resulting in a missed connection to Ankara. As a result, I flew to Vienna and then on to Ankara. Upon attempting to board LH9585 from Ankara to the USA on 9/17/[redacted], I was informed that my return ticket had been canceled by Lufthansa as I was allegedly a no-show for the Atlanta to Chicago leg. Despite multiple calls to Lufthansa and efforts to rectify the situation, the issue remained unresolved. I had to purchase a return ticket from THY. This experience, which involved over 24 hours of waiting and additional expenses, has been quite distressing. I am seeking a refund for the disrupted travel. Payment was made on 7/21/[redacted] with a receipt # [redacted]81. Lufthansa Confirmation Number: U2IDYY. Justfly Booking Number: [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]. E-ticket Lufthansa: [redacted][redacted]-23. Respectfully, Nukhet DV

Upon arrival at Frankfurt airport, my connecting flight from gate B to gate Z presented a tight 1-hour window. Unfortunately, access to gate Z was partly closed due to a security concern with a piece of baggage, causing a detour back to our original gate. This unexpected delay consumed over an hour and a half. Despite over 20 passengers, including myself, missing the boarding time due to this security incident, Lufthansa flight LH [redacted] departed punctually without waiting. Subsequently, we had to fend for ourselves at the airport and encountered an uncooperative counter attendant who denied our request to escalate the matter. Consequently, we are currently enduring a delayed journey home with an extra connection and less desirable seating arrangements. I firmly believe that Lufthansa should provide just compensation for the disorganization and inadequate customer service exhibited. A mere 30-minute delay could have prevented this predicament, sparing us the stress of exhaustion, hunger, and the burden of unmet responsibilities at home. I urge Lufthansa to address this matter promptly and offer a suitable resolution.

I booked tickets with Lufthansa for a flight from Chicago to Munich on August 7th, returning on August 22nd. I reserved seats for two directly with Lufthansa using confirmation code PBLC8I. The seats were 28H and K for Flight LH0437 and 28D and E for Flight LH0436. We paid $[redacted].00 for these seats. While the flight to Munich was fine, the return was problematic as our seats were not in the system. John and Ingeborg Mead here with E-ticket numbers [redacted][redacted] and [redacted][redacted]. I've been trying to contact Lufthansa since August 25th regarding this issue with no luck. I'm disappointed and just seeking a $[redacted].00 reimbursement. Thank you.

I made reservations via Member Travel Privileges with USAA for a trip to Munich. The flights went smoothly, except for the return flight where our reserved seats were not honored. We encountered issues with seat selection and insufficient legroom, causing discomfort. Despite paying for seat reservations and reaching out to Lufthansa, I have not received satisfactory resolution. I believe a reimbursement for the return flight is appropriate due to the poor service experienced. Contact attempts with Lufthansa's customer relations have been fruitless, with little response received. My contact information is as follows: [redacted] East Piney Ridge Nixa, Missouri [redacted] USA Phone: [redacted]

During my recent flight from Stuttgart to Frankfurt, I specifically requested wheelchair assistance due to my disability, but unfortunately, no Lufthansa representative was available to assist me. Despite having a 4-hour layover, I had to navigate to my connecting flight with my oxygen tank on my own until a non-Lufthansa personnel provided me with an electric cart to the wrong gate. I faced significant distress and exhaustion during this experience. I finally reached my correct gate but urgently need to recharge my oxygen capsule before boarding my flight to Dallas, which leaves in 20 minutes. This situation has been incredibly difficult for me. Please reach out to me via email at [redacted] to address this matter promptly.

Dear Forum Members, I am sharing my recent travel experience for your advice and feedback. On August 28, [redacted], I embarked on a journey from Dallas to Delhi with two checked bags, one carry-on, and one personal bag. During the journey, the weight of my carry-on bag exceeded the limit of 8 kg. Consequently, it was checked in at no additional cost. However, on my return flight from Delhi to Dallas with the same ticket, I encountered an issue. The customer service in India did not permit me to bring my carry-on bag onboard unless the combined weight of both my carry-on bag and my computer bag fell between 8 to 10 kg. Unfortunately, due to this restriction, I had to discard some items from my carry-on bag, which caused inconvenience. Despite my efforts to seek assistance from various personnel, no one was able to provide a satisfactory solution. This experience led to stress and even a migraine during the flight. Furthermore, I was surprised by the unexpected quoted fee of $[redacted] for the extra bag, which I expected to be around $[redacted]. I have always favored flying with Lufthansa due to their accommodating service, but this experience has left me disappointed.

I experienced a challenging situation at Frankfurt airport during my journey from Stuttgart to Dallas, Texas. As a disabled passenger, I had requested assistance when booking my flight with Lufthansa. Unfortunately, the assistance did not arrive at my gate in Frankfurt, leading to a near miss of my connecting flight and causing me distress due to low oxygen levels. With the help of staff from another airline and a kind lady who guided me to the correct gate on a cart, I managed to board my flight in time. My main concern is that the delay in assistance prevented me from recharging my oxygen battery during the 4-hour layover. I kindly request that Lufthansa pay greater attention to the needs of elderly and disabled passengers to avoid similar situations in the future. I humbly ask Lufthansa to consider compensating me for the inconvenience, perhaps through a coupon or credit. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, L. Torabli
