The issue in GetHuman-annalibb's own words
We drove two hours to LLBean with my two children and fianc* to exchange a pair of defective boots purchased at LLbean. We were at LLbean a couple weeks ago and a store manager, as well as two other employees assured us that, although we no longer had our receipt we could still return the boots because they were broken and leaking. Tonight we were told they would not exchange the boots without a receipt. The employees were degrading and rude and we heard them saying terrible things about is when we walked away. *Not only do we need our money refunded, or a new pair of boots sent to us. We need an apology on behalf of the store. My family and I have spend A LOT of money at LLBean and I am extremely disappointed.
GetHuman-annalibb did not yet indicate what LL Bean should do to make this right.
