Yesterday, while using Instagram, the app suddenly stopped working. After attempting to reopen it without success, I decided to delete and reinstall it. However, I am now logged out and cannot remember my password. The only connection I have to my account is my mobile number. Despite trying all the steps to log in, I am now required to input a two-factor authentication (6-digit code) or a back-up code (8-digit code), which I do not have. I reached out to Instagram's "Get Support" but have not received the necessary code. Although I keep receiving a message that two-factor authentication has been turned off and I should be able to log in, I still cannot access my account without the code. I have exhausted all my options, and I would appreciate any help in recovering my account. My Instagram ID is smitesh_shinde.

I recently unfollowed several accounts on Instagram due to a lack of interest in their content. Following this, my account (fran_snelling) was blocked by Instagram for what they deemed as 'suspicious activity', prompting a password reset. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue as I couldn't recall my password. Upon selecting 'forgotten password', I was asked to provide the email/phone number linked to the account. Despite attempting to reset via my phone number and then email, clicking on the reset links redirected me to the 'suspicious activity' page each time. Despite exploring online support pages and exhausting other options, I remain unable to resolve this matter. Warm regards, F.S.

Hello, I am reaching out because my Instagram account, Vegashley01, has been hacked. The hacker has changed the email, phone number, and password, making it impossible for me to log in. Unfortunately, I do not have 2-step verification or it linked to a Facebook account as originally thought. Despite following the steps on the help center, I couldn't recover my account as the process required the original login details. The hacker, using the email [redacted] and a phone number starting with +[redacted], is engaging in fraudulent activities on my account, which is concerning as I rely on it for work purposes. Hi Friends, It has been a while since [redacted] when I created my Instagram account. I clearly remember my username as well as the email used for that account. Lately, I have been trying to regain access by using my username and email, but I keep getting the error message "No users found." I even tried signing up as a new user with the same email address, only to be informed that it is already in use. I attempted to recover access through various methods - desktop browser, Android app, and Apple app - but have had no success. Yesterday morning, on October 15 around 9 am, I received a message from a friend. I clicked on a link they sent, and suddenly my account was compromised. I started receiving emails from IG, but I kept getting logged out and couldn't regain access as my account was hijacked within seconds. My IG handle is PCvsCG, linked to [redacted] and [redacted]. I'm trying to reclaim my account as the hijackers are attempting to scam my family and friends, causing me a lot of frustration. I sought help on the FB community but unfortunately got scammed further. Someone offered to assist for $[redacted], then asked for an extra $[redacted] to bypass the double verification using the DUO app. They then requested images of my driver's license and SSN, which made me realize I was being deceived. Despite providing my last thinking it would help, I received fraudulent emails from them posing as IG personnel.

Hello, I am currently experiencing issues with my deactivated Instagram account. Despite using it primarily for personal use and not engaging in any prohibited activities, my account was unexpectedly disabled, hindering my ability to stay in touch with friends and contacts. My account was unexpectedly disabled. I believe I abided by the rules as I've seen others break them and go unpunished. With only about [redacted] followers, I wasn't a big influencer. My last post before the ban was about PEG excipients in injections. I didn't engage in bullying, harassment, or any inappropriate behavior. I have a diverse group of friends, from teens to people in their 80s, from different backgrounds. I need access to a course I paid for, as well as important contacts and potential partnerships. I wish I could retrieve all my content. Feeling disappointed.

My name is Prabakaran. I encountered an issue while trying to reset my Instagram password. After selecting the phone number option for resetting the password, I received a link to reset it. Upon clicking the link and selecting the Instagram app, I was prompted to enter my username and password. Alternatively, when I opted to log in through Facebook, after entering my credentials, it tried to create a new Instagram account instead of recognizing my existing one linked to Facebook.

Hi Support Team, I'm experiencing difficulties with my Instagram account, as I can only partially access it and have concerns regarding 2FA. Recently, my account was compromised, but I took steps to recover and change the password. However, after changing the password, I found out that the 2FA code is still being sent to my old, unrecoverable email address. Although I've tried changing the password again and following other methods suggested in the Instagram help center, the issue still persists with 2FA. When changing the password, the email with the password change and login links is correctly sent to my active email address. Yet, after changing the password and logging in, the code verification is sent to my old email address, causing a problem as I cannot access it (see attached screenshots: password-change-mail.png and 2fa-bug.png). Additionally, my Instagram account is linked to my Facebook account, and while logging in with Facebook works, the 2FA verification is hindering full access. Hello India Team and Instagram Support, I am writing to report that my Instagram account (@Shivamsingh_9291) was deactivated on August 11, [redacted], around 12:45 pm IST. During that time, I was not using my account as it had been hacked. I did not receive any password change emails on my Gmail account, and someone else had unauthorized access to it. I want to clarify that I did not share my password with anyone nor did I click on any suspicious links. If any posts or messages on my account violated your community guidelines or terms of use, I sincerely apologize as it was not my intention to offend or go against any rules. I posted a comment on Instagram joking about Spider-Man characters, but after I made a remark using the term "hoe," my account got suspended or restricted immediately. Instagram displayed a message stating that my comment had been deleted or reported. I believe my account has been disabled unfairly, as I am unable to report or contest this action due to the app not refreshing. Strangely, my other account is functioning normally while the one in question remains inaccessible.

Hello, I need to address the block on my professional Instagram account. I have been using my Instagram account for both personal and business purposes for 5 years. It is directly linked to my Facebook Business page. I am the sole user of the account with my community manager assisting from Lebanon. Lately, we have been following too many accounts, and I will cease this activity. I admit to recently installing an app called Reports + for Instagram to track unfollowers, leading to my account being blocked. I understand now that such apps violate Instagram's policies, and I apologize. As my account is crucial for my business, I appeal the blocking decision. I will comply with Instagram and Facebook guidelines moving forward by refraining from following excessive accounts and using only approved platforms.

I have worked on several Malayalam and Tamil channels as a VJ and actor for TV series on Surya TV, the Kari Kube YouTube channel, Colors Tamil, Surya TV, Zee Keralam, Vijay TV, and Flowers TV.
