Hi, I mistakenly recharged Google Play with INR [redacted] instead of Google Pay using my Paytm wallet. According to Order #[redacted], the transaction was successful on Paytm. Paytm support recommended reaching out to Google Play for a refund. I kindly request the cancellation of this payment and a refund to either my Paytm or Google Pay account. I seek a prompt resolution and appreciate a representative contacting me. Kindly share your support team's contact information as I couldn't locate any contact numbers or email. Thanks, Praveen Kumar

I like to support app developers by purchasing their apps. Recently, I looked into getting the Truecaller app for its call and messaging recognition feature. To my surprise, I discovered that I had unintentionally subscribed to Truecaller GOLD. Without realizing it, I had been charged $[redacted] for a subscription that would automatically renew annually. This mistake likely occurred due to unintentionally approving the purchase with a stored credit card on the Google app store. I contacted Truecaller for a refund as I only intended to use the free version. Unfortunately, they refused. I believe a safeguard should be in place on Google Play where users can set a limit requiring a password for purchases over a certain amount. This can help prevent accidental high charges and protect users. Thank you, Eran.

Hello! I reached out to someone earlier who mentioned sending me additional instructions for contacting my bank to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up communication. I recently noticed five charges from the Rick and Morty game that were refunded between [redacted] and [redacted]. Although I continued playing, my account was reset, leading to a courtesy refund for all previous charges. Three out of the five charges were processed through my PayPal account using a debit card that was associated with it. Following a hacking incident, my PayPal account was closed, resulting in refunds for those charges. However, the refunded amounts did not reflect in my bank account even after contacting PayPal. The last two charges were paid using a debit card that is no longer in use, but the same bank account remains active with a new debit card. Despite inquiries, my bank could not locate these refunds on their end. I am seeking assistance in reissuing these refunds to my current debit card and can provide evidence of my bank transactions to support my claim.

I accidentally made a purchase for $[redacted] instead of the usual $0.99. I have contacted Google Play for a refund, but they redirected me to Niantic. Niantic, in turn, directed me back to Google Play for the refund process. Niantic's support page states, "If you purchased PokéCoins and wish to receive a refund, please contact Apple Support (iOS users), Galaxy App Store (Samsung users), or Google Play Help (Android users) to review their respective refund policies, request a refund, or to inquire about a recent transaction." Transaction ID: GPA.3[redacted]-8[redacted]2 I appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thank you, BP

Last night while playing Word Collect, my phone slipped out of my hand when I tried to catch it. When I caught it, I saw a text message from my bank about an unauthorized $53.11 purchase. I did not make this purchase and I want a refund. I also want my stored payment information removed to prevent this from happening again. Patricia S. Email: [redacted]

I have a short story about my recent app publication. I accidentally signed it with the wrong keystore, and it seems I can't change it. I am wondering if it's possible to delete the published app so I can reuse the package name. I would like to update the release with the correct APK, but I'm willing to create a new project if necessary.

Hello, I noticed a pending transaction for £59.99 on my bank account dated September 5th from Google Play. I did not make this purchase or authorize any charges on Google Play. This happened previously in April, but I canceled the subscription then. I find it concerning and frustrating that money is being taken from my account without my consent. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help.

I've noticed charges on my debit card from Google Play for 7 apps, but I'm unsure what they are for. I don't play games and only tried to install a printing program that didn't work, which I thought I cancelled. I appear to be paying for 1 app at $4.99 and 6 apps at $2.99 each. This is the second month I've been charged, can someone please assist me in resolving this? Thank you.

I recently attempted to purchase the e-book 'The Sum of Small Things: A Theory of the Aspirational Class' by Elizabeth Currid-Halkett. Upon payment confirmation, I might have accidentally canceled the transaction, but the payment (14,39€) has already been deducted from my account. Despite this, I have not gained access to the e-book nor is it reflected in my 'books' overview. Could you please assist me in accessing the e-book or processing a refund for the transaction?

Dear, I am reaching out on behalf of CV Global Solusindo Teknologi with our Google account [redacted] In the past, we have successfully uploaded various apps on Google Play, which were promptly changed to the "published" status. However, on September 9, [redacted], we uploaded a new app named The Competition. Unfortunately, the status is still pending publication. This app is essential for school competition events starting on September 10, [redacted]. We kindly request assistance from the Google verification team to expedite the verification process. If there are any issues, please let us know so we can address them promptly. The competition has already begun, and it is crucial for the app to be available on the Play Store. We sincerely appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

I previously contacted you and attempted to call the American phone number from New Zealand but only encountered automated messages. The email address used is the one associated with the issue. I processed a refund request on the 9th, but the problem persists. I urgently require assistance to cease these transactions and retrieve my funds. The current situation is causing me a great deal of stress. I have updated my device's security and reached out to my bank, but they were unable to provide a solution. I feel stuck in a frustrating loop. I am concerned about ongoing issues affecting my ability to cover essential expenses. Any prompt assistance from Google would be greatly appreciated.

I have receipts for Google Play purchases that won't redeem. I need technical support to look into this urgently. Please check my account to activate the Google Play gift cards I bought. I use them for in-app purchases in war apps but can't use them now, causing me to lose money. I have tried everything in the apps to stay protected but need help to redeem my purchases. It's frustrating to buy Google Play cards and not benefit from them. I ask for assistance in redeeming the funds into my account promptly.

I signed up for a 3-day trial of the 30 Day Fitness Challenge on Sept. 10, [redacted]. However, I was charged $9.99 for the first month around 4:30 this afternoon on my PayPal account, earlier than I anticipated. I am upset about this and would like a refund of the charge, otherwise, I will have to dispute it with PayPal. I find this practice frustrating, and I assume it is the developer's doing in the hopes that customers won't notice. I have not cancelled my subscription yet as I wanted your input first. Please let me know what steps I should take.

I am writing from the Philippines to address an issue with Google Play's Payment method, specifically the Direct Carrier Billing functionality. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen two months ago, and now my account number is connected to someone else's Google Play account. I have been consistently billed around Php800 monthly because someone is using my number/load to purchase Mobile Legends diamonds. The message I receive states: "Hi! Your mobile number [redacted]92 has been charged PHP [redacted].88 on 09/08/[redacted] 11:44 as payment for YoungJoy Technology Limited - [redacted] Diamonds (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang) from pdgoogle." As a Globe Telecom user, I suspect the thief utilizes the "Bill my Globe Telecom account" option to charge purchases to my phone number. I have contacted Globe, but they explained resolving the issue, involving a third party like Google Play, might be challenging. They suggested changing my number/SIM as a last resort, which I am hesitant to do due to the numerous accounts linked to my current number. Following the theft, I blocked my old phone and changed my SIM card and passwords. I kindly request to disconnect the Google account linked to my phone number to cease the unauthorized charges and eliminate the need to change my number.

I bought a Google Play card for my grandson's birthday from Walgreens, but it didn't work as it showed that it had already been redeemed. I'm certain it was brand new as I purchased it and scratched the code myself. After struggling to contact customer service, I was informed I'd have to wait up to a month for assistance, which is frustrating considering I paid $50 for it. I ended up buying a Visa Gift Card for $50 more to replace it for my grandson. I demand a refund promptly, as I believe waiting a month is unreasonable. Customer service at Google should be more efficient, especially for such a big company. I am willing to escalate this issue if necessary. Hopefully, a quick resolution can be provided to turn this negative experience around. I haven't shared the code yet. It's disappointing how others have faced similar problems based on what I've seen online. Despite being assured a call back from a supervisor, it hasn't happened yet, adding to my dissatisfaction.

I am seeking a refund for my in-game purchases as the odds advertised do not apply equally to all customers. The CEO's admission that higher spenders have better odds than others is disappointing and constitutes false advertising. I expect a full refund as I believed I had a slim chance, not zero chance, of success. I will refrain from making any more purchases until this issue is rectified. If needed, I can provide screenshots of the article in question. Thank you.

I've been enjoying The Walking Dead Road to Survival game on the Play Store, but recent revelations showed that the developer, Scopely, may have been engaging in questionable practices with their odds and pull systems. According to a recent article, the odds advertised do not reflect the actual chances for the players. This means that while a large spender may have a high chance of success, I, as a customer, essentially have a zero percent chance. I believe this discrepancy is a form of false advertising. I am seeking a full refund for all the money I've invested in the game under the false pretense of having a fair shot at the rewards. The CEO's admission of this issue is disheartening, and unless significant changes are made, I will not be making any further in-game purchases. I can provide screenshots of the article if needed in the future.

I fell victim to a scam where I was told my Apple iCloud account was compromised. They instructed me to buy Google Play cards from various stores and share the codes to resolve the issue. The scammer claimed a Russian hacker accessed my personal data. I regret falling for this scheme. Please beware of such scams. If there's a chance to recover my funds, kindly advise. Thank you. - P. I am seeking a full refund for all the money I have spent on the game The Walking Dead: Road to Survival by Scopely. Recent information has come to light through a Venture Beat article revealing the company's fraudulent manipulation of loot box odds, leading me to feel deceived in my purchases. These purchases were made for random rewards, but the company's manipulation of odds based on my buying history is concerning. The upcoming gaming legislation in the US and UK aims to tackle such deceitful practices by developers like Scopely. Given these issues, I kindly request a full refund for the expenses incurred in the game and express my desire to sever any future ties with the developer. Attempts to contact them directly have been met with silence. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

To whom it may concern, I recently noticed a charge of £7.49 on my bank account from Google Play. I believe this charge was accidental. I accidentally activated a subscription on the app "Homer" due to a high volume of notifications. I uninstalled the app shortly after installing it when I realized the ongoing subscription. I have since cancelled any future charges through Google Play. Could you please confirm that there will be no further charges from this app? I kindly request a refund of £7.49 as I did not use the app for learning and uninstalled it on the same day I installed it. The subscription is set to cancel on 15/10/[redacted]. This issue was unintentional, as the constant notifications led to the accidental subscription. I hope to receive the refund promptly. Thank you for your assistance.
