However, it has been nearly a month, and I've been struggling to withdraw the funds. His mom still needs to cover the remaining expenses at the funeral home. Despite my efforts to reach out to GoFundMe and my bank, I've been unable to locate the money. The withdrawal date provided keeps getting postponed. I urgently need to access the funds as there are pressing expenses that require immediate attention.

I wanted to bring to your attention that there seems to be an issue with a GoFundMe campaign called "Detained US family in Guatemala." Allegations have been made that the campaign is fraudulent. Both JoAnn Powell Talpey and GoFundMe have been notified about the alleged fraudulent nature of the campaign. It has been reported that false statements were made by JoAnn Talpey about Jessica Stratton. Interestingly, JoAnn Powell Talpey apparently has another GoFundMe campaign for the same cause. Despite multiple reports to GoFundMe about the fraud, the campaign has not been taken down. This situation raises concerns about how GoFundMe is handling potential fraudulent activities that go against American citizens. It is important to address this issue promptly and remove these campaigns to prevent the public from unknowingly supporting any criminal activities related to JoAnn Powell Talpey and Jessica Stratton.

I have already detailed this situation. In short, on December 9th, it shows a withdrawal that I did not make. The account linked to my GoFundMe was inactive, but I have since updated it. I am unable to access the money as it shows as withdrawn. I kindly request assistance to retrieve the funds, approximately $70, and transfer it to the card on my account. This money is crucial in supporting my wife who has been battling stage 4 cancer for about 7 years. We rely on the generosity of loved ones, and this situation should not hinder our fight. Thank you.

Instead of typing out numerous questions and waiting for incomplete answers, I would appreciate speaking directly with a well-trained representative over the phone. If providing the phone number is not allowed, can someone please contact me? I value the efficiency of getting accurate and timely responses from a live representative instead of sifting through a long list of FAQs. I hope my particular concern can be addressed promptly.

Since December 5th, I have been patiently waiting for the check I requested to cover Carlos Vielma's medical expenses. Despite receiving multiple emails indicating the check would arrive within 7-10 days, I have yet to receive anything to date. The latest update suggests the check will now arrive on January 26th, marking the fourth change in the expected delivery date this month. These repeated delays have raised doubts about the legitimacy of the website. Unless I receive the funds this week, I will be forced to report the situation.

The other was intended to raise funds for starting a moped repair business in a small town where there are no existing services. I needed help to purchase parts and tools to kick-start the venture. Despite being informed of the page's closure, I had already bought supplies, anticipating reimbursement from the campaign proceeds. The stolen goods were also crucial for the moped business. Contributors, including acquaintances from my travels and recent connections, supported me, believing in my ability to establish the business. Since most backers are not local, I opted for GoFundMe over traditional postal contributions. I was progressing towards launching the business until the theft occurred, leaving me in debt after investing in necessary supplies. It is vital for me to secure the essential tools and parts still missing. I urge a review of both cases as many are relying on me to get the business off the ground. On January 10th, I set up my retirement fund contribution to go to my bank account, and there was over $[redacted] in donations. Everything seemed fine when I set up my bank account, and it indicated it would be deposited within approximately 5 business days. As of January 17th, I still have not received the withdrawn amount in my bank account. Additionally, when I checked today, the bank account I initially set up is no longer showing in my account settings. Furthermore, the funds I collected no longer appear in the donations section—it shows $0 as if I haven't received any donations. The withdrawal history to my bank account is also missing. Where is the money I transferred on January 10th? Over $[redacted] has vanished, to be exact $[redacted].46. I even have a picture of the amount I took, which I shared with my mother that day, confirming it wasn't a mistake. I have a snapshot of the account with the last digits of the bank account I entered. Can someone please assist in locating my missing funds?

I opened an account with you guys a week ago, and I have yet to receive any donations. My concern is why everyone else seems to be receiving donations while I've gotten nothing, not even a dollar. I fear this website, GoFundMe, may be a scam. I have a friend who works for the FBI, and I plan to seek their assistance to investigate. My story titled "Fighting to Stay Alive" features a picture of a young man with a blue Navy baseball cap. The text is underneath, along with my email [redacted] Perhaps I didn't set it up correctly due to my limited computer skills, but despite being expected to receive donations by now, I have received none. This lack of donations seems unfair, especially when my husband is battling AIDS and we are in need of support. I will be taking action to report GoFundMe for possible fraud. Additionally, GoFundMe should offer a 1-[redacted] number for live customer service to address these concerns.

After Hurricane Michael struck the Panama City, FL area, my employer set up a GoFundMe account called "TEAM BBG HURRICANE RELIEF FUND" to assist three employees at BBG (Best Beach Getaways) who lost their homes. The account was initiated by Erica DeVos, along with her husband, Matt DeVos, and her brother-in-law, Mike DeVos. They indicated that the funds raised were meant for Grace O'Neal, Donielle Salogub, and myself, Gary Cox. Have inquired multiple times about the status of the funds with no clear answer, always being told they need to check with their father. It has been over three months since the hurricane, and over a month since GoFundMe sent a check to the DeVos family. I am unsure if the funds have been released to Best Beach Getaways, received, or been disbursed to us as intended. My supporters have donated, and I provided their social media profiles and explained our connection. However, only one donation was approved, even though we provided evidence for all of them. There was a GoFundMe campaign organized for the burial expenses of three individuals, one being my late brother and the other two being his granddaughters. Initially, the fundraising was featured on Channel 2 and garnered contributions. However, there has been a recent change where they are now focusing only on the granddaughters. It seems that the organizers are attempting to retain the funds and are neglecting to provide support for my brother's burial. Many kind-hearted donors have contributed specifically for my brother, yet we are being excluded from the revised plan. I donated $[redacted] on my Gofundme account for a cause I support. Initially, the donation showed up as $[redacted] plus a $25 service fee. However, now the record of my donation has disappeared. I contacted my credit card company, Chase, because I saw a pending charge of $[redacted] on my account for "She dreams of using t" on Feb 5, [redacted]. The fraud manager at Chase mentioned that although there was an authorization sent to the bank, it had not processed by Feb. 10. I am puzzled by this situation. I set up a GoFundMe page for the Surviving Dogs of Xanthi with $[redacted].00 in donations, but it got cancelled due to lack of updates. A German group took over caring for the dogs but kept changing their plans. I wanted to redirect donations to them, but GoFundMe cancelled the page.
