Over the past weekend, I tried to freeze my credit report with Experian. While I could freeze my report with Equifax and TransUnion online, Experian did not allow it, stating my input information was insufficient for a PIN#. I would appreciate it if someone from Experian could contact me promptly to clarify why I am encountering issues. I followed all steps correctly, and my identity was successfully confirmed when I obtained a credit report from Experian on January 8, [redacted]. It would be great if a representative could explain the discrepancy. You can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you for your help.

I froze my account back in June [redacted], but recently I discovered a credit inquiry by SYNCB/TJX C O on June 24th, which should not have happened. I am concerned about how this information was accessed. The customer service experience has been awful. I keep receiving emails inquiring if my issue has been resolved, to which I answer "NO." Despite this, they continue to ask what steps I took to resolve the problem. Experian lacks sufficient customer service support to address my concerns. This company is unreliable as they approved a new credit card application while my account was frozen. Their lack of attention to security is concerning, and I am disappointed in their ability to handle my information properly.

I am experiencing an issue with Experian as they have placed a freeze on my credit report without my authorization. I am unable to reach a customer service representative for assistance. Due to multiple identity theft incidents, I cannot access my account since I do not know the password set up by the thief. Experian has requested sensitive information following a security breach, which alarms me as the thieves seem to have access to my details. I refuse to provide them with critical information as suggested. I would like to have the freezes removed from my account promptly. Dealing with these problems is causing immense stress, and the lack of clear communication from Experian is frustrating. I prefer to handle my credit score issues independently. I eagerly await a resolution to this matter. Thank you, Shannon J. W.

I have been charged $21.95 last month on the 5th and again this month for something I am not aware of. I tried to contact the bank, but they advised me to reach out to you. I attempted to cancel a possible membership but the automated system did not offer an option to speak with someone. When trying to report it as a fraudulent charge, it mentioned putting a fraud alert on my credit report, which I do not want due to me buying a house. I need the fraud alert removed immediately and someone to assist in resolving this matter. Thank you. Roy J. [redacted]/[redacted]. Thanks, Jim.

I am having difficulty logging in. I have been unable to reach anyone over the phone or reset my password successfully. The webpage repeatedly shows an error message prompting me to call, but the phone system disconnects after instructing me to reset my password online. I have not received a new password via email either. It is frustrating that Experian continues to charge me monthly fees despite the lack of service and numerous dead-ends. The situation seems misleading for a credit reporting agency. I am requesting a refund for the charges.

Hello, my name is Jose. I am currently working on building my credit, but I am facing a challenge due to a fraud alert on my account. I recently switched my banking to Bank of America and I rely heavily on my card. Now that I am 24 years old, I am eager to focus on establishing good credit. I am employed at Darren’s Olive Garden. I have reached out before to address this problem, but I still need assistance. Improving my credit is essential for my future, and it's the one obstacle currently hindering me.

I tried to log into the Experian website, but I forgot my username and password. I provided my birthdate and social security number, but the system sent the username to the wrong email address, which is not mine. I need to get in touch with someone to sort this out as the automated system does not have the right prompts for my issue. Thank you.

I am having trouble connecting Boost with my VyStar Credit Union checking account. The bank mentioned that the issue might be due to how my name is listed as Fred D. Harris and Elizabeth S. Harris instead of Frederick D. Harris on my Experian credit file. They assured me that Experian should have access to the accounts at VyStar. I noticed that VyStar Credit Union is not listed in the bank options, even after performing a search. The utility payments I need to account for are Okefenoke REMC Payment and Northeast Florida WEB PMTS. Can you please provide guidance on how to proceed?

Yesterday, I temporarily lifted my account freeze to apply for a credit card. I set a date range of approximately 20 days for the freeze to be inactive. The credit card issue was quickly resolved, and now I need to re-activate the freeze immediately. However, I am having trouble finding a way to do this with Experian. I have attempted to contact them via the phone numbers provided on their website, but it appears there is no option to speak with a live person. I am concerned that by the time a mailed request is processed, it will be past the initial end date of 8/30 for the freeze removal.

I used Experian's online platform yesterday to temporarily remove my account freeze. I only needed it lifted for around 3 weeks starting yesterday, but now I want to reinstate the freeze immediately. Unfortunately, Experian doesn't provide a way to do this online. The phone numbers listed on their website only lead to automated responses that eventually hang up, making it impossible to speak to a real person. I've already wasted over 3 hours trying to reapply the freeze. I just need to quickly talk to a human to resolve this issue. Experian, please remove the temporary lift and reinstate my account freeze. Thank you.

I am currently in the process of purchasing a vehicle from Mark Miller Toyota in SLC, and I encountered an issue while trying to remove my credit freeze. I mistakenly answered a question incorrectly on the pin retrieval screen. I urgently need a temporary release so that they can finalize our financing. I am hesitant to send all my personal information through the mail, as it includes my name, birthday, Social Security number, and government-issued ID all in one envelope, which could pose a security risk if lost or stolen. Could someone please contact me via phone or email at [redacted] so I can provide the necessary information orally or electronically? Thank you.

I am currently in the process of buying a vehicle from Mark Miller Toyota in SLC. However, I encountered an issue while lifting my freeze which I believe was due to an incorrect answer during pin retrieval. I urgently require a temporary release for them to finalize our financing. I am hesitant about sending all my personal information via mail as requested, as it seems risky to have my name, birthday, social security number, and government-issued ID all in one envelope. I would prefer to provide this information over the phone or through email for security reasons. Please contact me via phone or email so I can proceed with providing the necessary information. Thank you.

I've been struggling to lift the credit freeze on both my husband's and my credit reports without success. Despite entering the provided PIN, I keep receiving an error message prompting me to call. However, every time I call, I get stuck in the automated system loop. I urgently require a temporary unfreeze for Westfield Bank in Canton OH on Dressler Road to access our reports promptly. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

My bank has recommended that I reach out to Experian regarding being potentially affected by the Experian Security Breach. Over the past few years, my bank accounts and personal information have been compromised, and my email usernames and passwords for all online accounts are constantly being tampered with. Hackers have managed to steal nearly $50,[redacted] from me within a brief period. There have been unauthorized credit applications under my name. Despite setting up security freezes, they have been removed, and credit monitoring has been compromised due to the hackers having access to my personal information.

Dear Experian, I recently received my FICO 9 credit report from you which showed no activity on my credit cards except for a balance dispute with Hyundai Finance. This dispute has caused a 25-point drop in my credit score according to Experian, while my Equifax FICO 8 score remains at [redacted]. I am experiencing discrepancies between the scores provided by both agencies, and despite being vigilant about checking for any unusual activity due to prior data breaches, Experian's score does not reflect my financial responsibility. I am a Navy veteran facing physical limitations, making it difficult for me to handle this matter through traditional mail. I own a property and have no outstanding debts, yet my credit score with Experian continues to decline while other agencies show improvement. I am reaching out for assistance in addressing these discrepancies, as I believe I am being unfairly penalized by Experian. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Paul S. from Boynton Beach.

I am experiencing ongoing issues with a flooring installation that was charged to my Wells Fargo Credit Card but never completed. Despite Wells Fargo's promise to resolve the matter with the company, they closed the account without a resolution, damaging my credit with reported late payments. Now, I am seeking assistance as these reports are affecting my financial status and causing me to face higher interest rates. I tried hiring a credit repair company to address this situation, but they did not make any significant progress even after several months and a substantial fee. As a senior, maintaining good credit is important to me, and I am eager to find a solution to remove the negative impact of this unresolved issue from my credit report. I am looking for guidance on how long this will affect my credit and how to stop the monthly reporting of late payments.

I have been repeatedly charged for Experian credit reports, credit scores, and identity theft protection services but I don't understand the reason for these charges. Almost every time I get charged, I can only use the service for a couple of days before I'm prompted to update my payment information and get charged again. The charges are inconsistent, sometimes showing as $24.99 and other times as $19.99 without receiving the lower price. Initially, I was satisfied with the service, but recently I've been unable to access it despite being charged. I use a specific card for these transactions and would like a refund for the payments I've made without receiving the service. Could you please review your records to clarify the charges? Thank you. -Shelley E.

I am having trouble resolving an issue with Experian. They have been charging me monthly for a report I never received nor requested. I want to stop any further charges and get a refund for the ones already charged. I have been attempting to contact them for a week through various methods with no success. None of the numerous phone numbers I've tried reach a person, and no one has returned my calls or addressed my issue. It seems many others are facing similar problems, and I hope this situation gets attention from the appropriate authorities. At this point, I have given up trying to resolve it through their channels. I am considering refusing to pay any more charges in the hope that they will eventually stop. - M. Tyra

Recently, my Experian credit score dropped from the mid-800s to the high 700s without any changes from my end. It has been stable in the mid-800s for more than a year, and I am keen on maintaining it at that level. I put in a lot of effort to achieve that score, and I am unsure why it has decreased. I am seeking advice on how to improve my score back to the mid-800s as I am uncertain about what steps to take. I am hopeful that customer service can guide me through this situation.

I am seeking assistance with disputing a hard inquiry made by ADT that appeared on my Equifax report without my authorization. Despite ADT filing a dispute with Equifax, I have been informed that only the creditor, Experian, can remove the inquiry. ADT attempted to assist with the dispute through Equifax, but as they are not the owner, they were unable to proceed. Feeling frustrated with the situation, I took the initiative to address the issue on their behalf. Experiencing difficulties reaching a resolution, I have contacted Experian multiple times without success. I am eager for a prompt resolution, as this unauthorized inquiry is affecting my report negatively. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
