Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed for Recent Hotel Experience Hello, I'm currently staying at the Flamingos Vallarta hotel after booking through Expedia, with itinerary number [redacted][redacted]. I have been a loyal Expedia customer for nearly 20 years. Unfortunately, my experience here has been far from satisfactory, as I have faced mistreatment and even physical assault from the hotel staff. The issue arose when the hotel ran out of drinking water. Despite my numerous attempts to obtain water, I was met with unhelpful responses and false promises. When I confronted the manager, Mr. Victor Chavera, he not only denied the water shortage but also forced me to pay for it and behaved inappropriately towards me. Feeling insulted and concerned for my safety, I am reaching out to Expedia for support in resolving this matter promptly. My daughters and I are currently in our room, hoping for a swift resolution to ensure our well-being during the remainder of our stay. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Last August, I booked a flight with Expedia under Booking number [redacted]18. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, I had to cancel my April flight this year. On May 8th, Expedia notified me via email that I had a credit for the flight and would receive updates. After not hearing anything, I called a few weeks ago seeking a refund, but was told by Expedia that the airline wouldn't allow it. When I tried to change the dates on November 14th, I was informed it was over 12 months ago and couldn't be modified. Despite my circumstances, I was offered a change with an additional cost of $[redacted] per traveler, totaling over $[redacted] for a short flight, which I reluctantly agreed to as I needed to visit my daughter at Easter. I am dissatisfied with this outcome, especially after being assured my travel credit was secure. I attempted to email a complaint to Expedia but received a notification that no replies were accepted on that platform. I will proceed with this flight next year but am unhappy with the treatment I received.

In January [redacted], we booked two flights via Expedia. Our first booking with Aegean Airlines had Itinerary [redacted][redacted] and Reservation Number JRDCHS. The second flight was with Pegasus Airlines with Itinerary [redacted][redacted] and Reservation Number L5K92U for passengers AP, LAP, CP, and MCW. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, both flights were canceled by the airlines in May [redacted]. Despite our continuous requests to Expedia for a refund, they informed us that the airlines were unable to provide the money back and that the tickets were only valid until January 14, [redacted]. After months of attempting to resolve this issue with Expedia, they are now recommending that we contact the airlines directly for a resolution. Surprisingly, when we reached out to the airlines, they mentioned that there are two options: Expedia should refund the money or customers can request a voucher through their website valid for 18 months. This contradicts Expedia's previous communication regarding the validity of the vouchers and the refund process.

My flight tickets were stolen along with my bag in Egypt. I cannot recall my flight itinerary. I was supposed to fly from Hurghada, Egypt to Copenhagen with a stop in Istanbul on November 29th or 30th with Pegasus Airlines. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the Pegasus Airlines website as the email I used to book the flight is no longer valid, and I'm unsure why. I am unable to determine the date and time of my flight, whether it's on the 29th or 30th. Could someone please help me? If possible, I am willing to provide a copy of my passport. I unexpectedly need to change our Dec 1st flights to depart from Mexico City to Dallas Fort Worth instead of Cancun. The new flight shall depart around 2 pm and arrive in Dallas around 5 pm on Dec 1st. The connecting flight to Albuquerque on Dec 2nd remains unchanged. My collie mix dog will be traveling with me. Regarding reservation R[redacted], I did not intend to book through Expedia but was redirected from the Grand Traverse hotel website without my consent. Upon reviewing my Expedia confirmation, I realized I could have saved $58.00 by booking directly through the hotel. The confirmation indicates a no-cancellation policy under the Special Rate. After contacting the hotel, I discovered that the rate on my confirmation is not a special rate, and the reservation can be canceled up to 72 hours before check-in for a $25 fee. I would like to align with the hotel's cancellation policy as stated in the confirmation and cancel my reservation immediately. If this is not done, I will have to escalate this matter further.

Hello, my name is Katelyn Allen. On December 1st, I made a reservation to stay at Royal Inn in Alachua, FL for a night. Unexpectedly, my family surprised me by visiting, and I forgot to cancel the booking. Typically, I reserve using my card without prepayment. This time, I mistakenly chose the "pay now" option. I usually have a good relationship with your hotel chain. I contacted customer service, but they advised me to reach out to the hotel directly, which I did. I need urgent assistance regarding a reservation issue. Last night, I tried booking through Expedia, but after entering my credit card details, I kept receiving an error message preventing the transaction. We unfortunately had to cancel our trip with itinerary #[redacted][redacted] in April due to the pandemic. Despite being told a refund of $[redacted].49 was issued by Expedia on 4/6/[redacted], we have yet to see the funds reflected in our bank statements. When contacting the hotel, we were informed that Expedia is responsible for handling the refund since it was a bundled flight/hotel booking. The customer service line has been unhelpful, and after 7 months without resolution, we are considering legal action. Can you please provide documentation or a receipt of the refund for our records?

I made a reservation through Expedia on 9/28/[redacted] for Holiday Inn in Tulsa, OK. Upon arrival, the hotel was fully booked. Expedia offered a room at Best Western but couldn't book it due to a computer update. They agreed to cover the price difference between Holiday Inn and Best Western. I spoke with Leah at reservationservices, who confirmed they would refund me $[redacted].76 for the two nights at Holiday Inn and the extra $49.39 paid at Best Western. Even though I sent the bill showing the total of $[redacted].76 from Best Western, only $[redacted].37 was credited to my account on October 5th. I'm still missing the $49.39 difference. In February [redacted], I had reservations for a two-night family trip that got canceled due to Covid-19. The hotel and my credit card company said refunds would be handled through Expedia. Hello, I am writing from Chile. My husband purchased a package through the Cocha tourism agency. I recently purchased a ticket from IAH to Bogota, Colombia, departing on May 26, [redacted], and returning on July 8, [redacted]. We are heading to Sydney Airport from Canberra to catch a flight to Hobart. Unfortunately, our driver, who is dealing with a recent terminal illness, forgot important medication and equipment at home, making us run late. We will only reach the airport at 4:50 pm, the departure time of our Jetstar flight. Given our current financial situation, we kindly ask Expedia for flexibility in rescheduling our flight.
