I went to the dollar general by my house today and purchased * items my daughter had asked me early this morning to get for her omw home. Well her husband came n * days early and they went and got what she needed. Omw I stopped at the same store to return the items with the receipt that I had purchased only to be told that when using the self check they aren't able to do refunds except on a gift card. They said the computer doesn't reconsider the terminal number for the self check. So now, I am stuck with dog food @$*, catfood @ $* catlitter @ $* and a rug @ $**, even tho I paid cash, have my receipt, I have no way to get the money back. I have had nothing but awful experience in the last * yrs when dealing with this company. I've tried to b patient and understanding about the current issue we r all faced with, but this, well this is just ridiculous. I am a single mom * minors still at home and I am disable we skim by, by the skin of my teeth each month with me only bringing in $*** a month. So now the money we had left for the month that I was trying to help my oldest out with, and she was gonna pay me back, is now lost and we have items we can't use cuz we have no animals and our floors r carpet!
