Last month I contacted Cox to switch my phone service over from Frontier. I cancelled Frontier and spoke with three Cox reps over the confusing matter of porting my number to Cox, which originally was done that day, then it was supposed to be five days to complete. All of these conversations were recorded. The last Cox rep I spoke to called me at the home number (***-***-****) while we were live on my cell to assure me that number was ported over and the service was transferred.*Three days ago, I received a bill from Frontier. A Frontier rep told me that my number was not ported over and that my account with them was still active.*I am extremely frustrated with both Cox and Frontier, and am thinking of doing away with this service altogether and am considering moving my Internet and TV over to another provider.
