Reduce my bill as I am black blind*see no light and need the monthly bill to stay under $*** if possible since I live solely on disability ... Since I am totally blind and see absolutely NO light I would like to spend way less on TV services and more within reason on internet services. Do I need to downsize my cable TV box to another one so I receive less TV services? I can HEAR just fine so the TV is on all day and I do listen to several cable channels as well. I still want cable service for TV but want to spend less than over $* per day for something I get only *** the reward for the price I am paying which is I believe double of what I should have to pay given my circumstances. Do people with disabilities deserve better services geared to their abilities from Cox? I SAY YES! Therefore I would like a discount or change to my TV cable service so I can continue to afford using Cox Cable which I love for the internet etc and not feel like I'm paying for something I'll never ever benefit from except for *** the service the sound.
I was told in December **** my bill was reduced for a year and January **** is not a year later. Secondly, with all my senses in tact I could play by their rules but I SEE NO LIGHT and don't have the same luxury as other customers - not asking for the WORLD just a break.
figuring out a way to discount my TV service even if they limit which channels I watch. I don't believe there is anything I can do and I believe they don't WANT to do anything for me either. I'm not even on a contract whatever that means. Lowering my bill comes down to me giving up insurance which I wouldn't NEED EITHER IF I STILL HAD MY EYESIGHT-IT'S INSULTING!!!!
I have been a customer since the early ****'s. I have never been late with a payment and have lost my eyesight totally since I started with Cox way back when. I shouldn't have to drop my service wait * months and then get it back as a new customer to make it affordable under my circumstances. When your life changes their ability to adapt to you is non-existant, however customers are supposed to be happy when every few months they have a new reason to raise your prices when nothing else has changed but their level of greed.
After waiting on the "best cox customer service phone number" for approximately ** minutes on hold after being hung-up on the first time I called, I hoped to decrease the amount of TV service I have somehow and pay less than over **The answer is I can drop insurance until I need it and Pleading with them. Explaining in detail why I believe my complaint has merit. Looking into what other companies out there offer despite how Cox talks about their competition. Researching others I know about their Cox services, what level of TV, internet and home phone which makes me pay **. something but gives me the bundled discount of $**...Yippee!that will save me money on a service charge which I shouldn't have to pay since I am supposed to say I'm blind and then I guess they will discount the tech coming to my apt. There is no way to downsize my cable channels because I like to listen to two channels that are TLC and HGTV so I pay more because the only other ones I listen to are PBS and local channels for the news etc. When I asked if I could exchange my box for another type or if reducing channels would be helpful to my bottom line I was told NO. In fact, I was getting the BEST PRICING I could get. However my box was being discontinued so I'd better get it upgraded. Of course, a tech will come and I hope he doesn't cost me a penny since I am still and will remain totally blind not seeing any light at all! Not happy but they don't care about someone like me. Plenty of people take their cost increases and bare it, people with disabilities like me get nothing from them. I have been a customer since the early ****'s but that makes no difference either. Kick a loyal customer is all you get from them. Yippee skippy I get to try and figure out if it's worth it to me anymore under the current circumstances. I'll be telling others "renter ('cause that is all you are with Cox) beware!!!!" Once they give you a huge discount for the first several months then they start incrementally inc...
