My spouse and I recently bought a vehicle in Maryland, and the title shows a lien with your company. The sellers informed us they settled the lien and provided proof, but Virginia DMV requires documentation from Capital One Auto Finance to register the car. However, we're having trouble reaching the sellers for the necessary paperwork. Hello, I’ve tried to contact with no success due to high call volume. I work as a server and have been temporarily laid off due to COVID-19. My current unemployment payment of $[redacted] a week is insufficient for my payments, especially as it won't arrive until April 1st. I realize my payments have been late and unreliable, and this month I won't be able to make it without my recent week of work. Due to the unfortunate circumstances of CoVid-19, my husband and I have lost our jobs. As a substitute teacher, I am affected by school closures, and my husband's catering business is also mandatory closed. I have managed to arrange payment extensions with my other creditors. However, your website does not offer options for this matter despite mentioning it in the automated voice system, which is frustrating. I discovered a number that connected me to a real person at Capital One! You can reach them at [redacted]. Surprisingly, I stumbled upon this number hidden on the "Loan Extension" section of Capital One's website, but it vanished quickly. Fortunately, I took a screenshot and tried calling - it worked! When I spoke to the representative, I learned they have 57 representatives and 98 calls waiting, which explains the wait time. It's a bit unfortunate that I had to dig around for this information, but I hope it helps everyone else. Stay safe, everyone!

Dear Team, I am writing to express my frustration with the two-hour phone wait only to be transferred to accounting and denied an extension. Subsequent calls dropped three times as there were no representatives available to assist me. I recently requested a payment extension to the end of my loan due in March but was advised to contact Capital One for ongoing financial hardship. My partner and I recently bought a new vehicle using Capital One Auto Financing this month. I am looking to discuss potential incentives available for new buyers during the Covid-19 pandemic. When we asked at the dealership about the incentives promised to new buyers, we were informed that these were mainly for "well qualified buyers." However, when we inquired about the incentive of "No payment for the first 3 months or [redacted] days," we were advised to contact our finance company directly given the special circumstances due to the Covid-19 situation.

My name is Jeremiah Stone. On 10/22/20, Bighorn Toyota in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, submitted an application to Capital One on my behalf. Tragically, I lost my father in the first week of the month, followed by losing my sister at the end of the same month. I acknowledge that making payments on time is my responsibility. Since then, I have consistently sent my payments without any issues.
