We are still awaiting the return of our luggage and have outstanding medical bills. My wife, P, and I were passengers on flight [redacted] on July 23, [redacted], departing at 04:12:23. Our reservation number was BY4BJC for seats 4A & 4B. During boarding, a passenger's water bottle fell from the overhead bin, hitting me on the head and causing a concussion. The crew was helpful and had me examined at MercyOne Hospital, disrupting our plans to attend a family event. Despite multiple calls to Allegiant, we haven't received any information about our luggage or any reimbursement for the medical expenses and the distress caused by the incident. We are upset by the lack of communication and demand clarity on these matters. I recently flew with Allegiant Airlines and encountered issues with a car rental from Alamo at Fort Wayne International Airport. Despite prepaying, I was unable to rent the car due to not having a credit card in my name for tax payment. I attempted to resolve this by going to an Avis office, only to find it closed, resulting in a wasted taxi fare and an unexpected stay at a nearby motel. This situation has forced me to adjust my plans and necessitate another flight back to Florida. I believe Allegiant should compensate me for the inconvenience, especially since I missed part of my brother's funeral due to these rental car complications.

My trip from 8/4 to 8/7 was disappointing. Our flight from SBN to Vegas was almost 2 hours late, leading to us arriving very late. We had to pay for an unused night at our hotel. On 8/7, our return flight was delayed with poor communication. After a long wait onboard a hot plane, we were taken off after an hour. There were further delays, a gate change, and a restroom issue on the next plane. Eventually, everyone had to disembark, and the flight was cancelled. This unexpected event cost us work wages and additional expenses for accommodation, transportation, and gas. Moreover, I discovered my Paynuver voucher had expired in the spam folder for both my husband and me. The compensation received did not cover our losses. Unfortunately, similar incidents with Allegiant have caused us significant financial losses before. Consequently, my husband is now reluctant to fly with them again, although I prefer their service.

I made a flight reservation from St. Pete/Clearwater (PIE), Florida to Little Rock, Arkansas departing on Friday, August 12, with a return flight from Little Rock to Tampa/St. Pete on Monday at 8:35 PM on Flight C4XCBC. Unfortunately, after arriving at the airport and completing my phone check-in, I found out security was closed at 8:00 PM. Despite being checked in and having my confirmation, I was unable to board. I, along with two other passengers, were left stranded without proper compensation. We had to seek alternative flights at our own cost and deal with parking fees. The only option given was to travel additional hours to another state to fly out on August 19. This experience has been disappointing and I feel let down as a loyal customer who has never had issues before with Allegiant. The lack of communication about the early departure time and the unavailability of security is unacceptable. I hope this message is addressed promptly to resolve this situation. - A.S.

I had a disturbing experience at your Key West counter. I tried to contact your corporate office via email but couldn't find it. I watched a congressional discussion on airlines mistreating customers, leading to my disappointment with your customer service. I have a video of the incident and may share it on social media. I plan to forward it to the Secretary of Education for review. Although I wanted to email your office directly, it seems your contact information is not public. It has been 6 weeks since the checks were supposedly mailed, and I have yet to receive them. This money is crucial for covering the cost of replacement tickets due to a canceled flight. My wife, M. B., encountered an issue with her service dog during the July 28th and August 4th flights. Despite being a trained service dog for the past five years and having a clear statement from her previous doctor, the corporate office personnel questioned her service dog without even seeing it. The service dog followed commands, refrained from interacting with others, and never used a cage, as is typical for service animals. This incident has caused distress to my wife, who also battles depression. The lack of explanation for refusing the service dog is concerning and must be addressed promptly.

I have a flight scheduled for October 8th, but due to a scheduled heart surgery on September 29th, I won't be able to use my ticket. My brother, who also has a ticket for the same date, is hesitant about flying alone at his age. Luckily, I have a friend who can take my place on the flight and accompany my brother. Would there be any charges for the substitution of passengers on my ticket? My confirmation number is BXGBKQ.

On June 24th, my return flight with Allegiant from Fort Lauderdale at 8pm was canceled, leaving my wife and 2 kids stranded with no accommodations, rental car, or available flights for days. Allegiant provided no assistance and promised a $[redacted] refund through the representative I bought the tickets from, which hasn't been received. Despite multiple emails, calls, and texts to the Allegiant rep, no response or refund has been issued. I am determined to pursue the $[redacted] owed until resolved. Allegiant's lack of support has soured me on the airline as this is the third problematic experience on a return flight with them. I do not recommend using Allegiant based on these incidents.

I had a ticket for flight G479 on Monday, October 3 from Missoula, Montana to Las Vegas, Nevada. My boarding document from GoToGate did not have a bar code, causing issues at the TSA checkpoint. Despite arriving early with no checked baggage, I missed the flight. Allegiant staff was unavailable for assistance, and I couldn't reach customer service over the phone. I had to buy another ticket for over $[redacted] from a different airline due to this inconvenience. I am seeking a full refund of $61.50 for the original ticket as I had proof of purchase and was unable to get a boarding pass with a bar code. The lack of support from Allegiant Airlines has left me extremely dissatisfied.

I typically spend a month in the fall at my winter home in North Port, Florida, and then return early January to late April. I had booked a flight with Allegiant for departure on Oct 15th and returning on Nov. 18th under the name Kenneth Faust. Unfortunately, my home in North Port was severely damaged by the hurricane, making it uninhabitable. I have canceled my departing flight and received a voucher instead of a reimbursement for part of my trip insurance. I am kindly asking for a credit for this portion of the trip, including the insurance, to be applied back to my credit card due to the extreme circumstances. In addition, I booked my departing winter flight on Jan. 8th with Allegiant (Confirmation C4SPFG) because bookings past 6 months are not allowed. I am hoping my house will be repaired by January so I can return. My current plan is to change my returning flight in November to April. My name is Rachelle Glass, and I've been struggling to reach Allegiant Airlines before my flight. It has been very frustrating for me and my husband, James. We needed to change our departure to an earlier date, departing from SDF to Austin on 10/7. However, despite our numerous attempts, we couldn't get through to anyone at Allegiant to inform them of the situation. Additionally, on our return flight from Austin to SDF on 10/10, we faced challenges with transportation. We were unaware that Allegiant flights operated from a different location, resulting in a delay as we waited for a shuttle at AUS. By the time we arrived at the new location, it was too late to check our bags, causing us to miss our flight. Unfortunately, this led to us not being able to utilize the round-trip tickets we had booked. Despite multiple phone and online attempts, we were unable to contact Allegiant to address these issues.

During our Las Vegas vacation, I had initially booked our return flight to Eugene, Oregon for October 20th. However, the flight itinerary I received includes a detour to Oakland, California with a lengthy layover before heading to Eugene on Allegiant Air. I am looking to change our flight to go directly from Las Vegas to Eugene on October 20th. I understand that there may be additional costs associated with this modification. I spoke with a representative yesterday after waiting for an hour. I believed my issue was resolved, but it seems it is not. Recently, I received my Bank of America credit card for Allegiant Always with the rewards number [redacted]12. However, this number does not match the number on my Allegiant app, which displays [redacted]01. Despite having about $[redacted] charged on my new BOA card, the app shows $0. During a previous conversation, the representative reset my account and assisted in creating a new password. I am eager to align both rewards numbers to ensure I receive credit for the charges made over the weekend while on vacation. How can I resolve this discrepancy between the card reward number and the app's rewards number?

On October 14, [redacted], we flew from Las Vegas to Great Falls, Montana. Upon arrival, our luggage was missing. Allegiant explained there were belt issues at Las Vegas baggage causing luggage to slide back unnoticed. We were left waiting in the plane for an hour due to the pilot not having logbooks. The lack of communication was evident during this delay. Had proper checks been done, our luggage could have been on board. We received our luggage on October 19 at 1:30 pm, resulting in significant inconvenience without access to our clothes, makeup, and skincare products. This is the second time Allegiant has mishandled our luggage. We are requesting a $50 refund for our luggage fees and seek compensation for the inconvenience caused by these service failures.

To whom it may concern, I am a 62-year-old woman who has never flown before. My husband, a veteran who served 5 years in the US Coast Guard, and I were invited to Disneyworld by our daughter's family to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. I checked your website for information on what to pack in carry-on and checked baggage, and came across the 'Allegiant Honors' section, which mentioned benefits for spouses and dependents of eligible military travelers. Nowhere did it state that I needed a spousal ID, and I wish I had known beforehand. I felt embarrassed and was charged $50 at the Harrisburg airport on 10/15/22 and $[redacted] in Orlando on 10/22/22. If I had known, I could have prepaid for my luggage. As a first-time flyer, this experience was upsetting. I believe I should be refunded due to unclear guidelines for military spouses. This is my fifth attempt to reach you regarding my canceled flight to Tampa on October 13th, with confirmation number C6FM2N. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to hospitalization. I received a voucher for $[redacted].82, but I paid $[redacted] for the ticket. I kindly request a voucher for the price difference as soon as possible, as I need to rebook my flight. I find it frustrating that Allegiant has been unresponsive to my previous attempts to contact them. Despite this, I will continue to choose Allegiant for its convenience unless this issue remains unresolved. I eagerly await your prompt response.

We had a smooth round trip for 2 from Des Moines to SNA, which we were very happy about. However, our return flight on the 20th was unexpectedly canceled when I tried to check in for my online boarding pass that morning. We had booked our trip 2 months in advance and had important medical appointments the next day, so we had to hurriedly rebook with another airline at a higher cost and without assigned seats. Despite purchasing insurance for such situations, we have not received any communication from Allegiant regarding our refund. We were not informed via text or email about the cancellation, and we struggled to reach a human representative for assistance due to long wait times. We are still trying to resolve this issue and get a refund.

I am currently traveling with my parents, and unfortunately, my father had an accident and fell. I have a flight (c9yxhb) scheduled for Friday from Las Vegas to Peoria, but I am requesting to reschedule to Monday's flight at 2:33 pm. I have faced several unforeseen circumstances over the past two years, such as dealing with Covid, my partner having shingles, and now my father's injury, which have led to me buying new flights approximately six times without any credit for the previous flights.
