I recently had my flight to Hong Kong changed from an Air Canada flight to an Eva Air flight without notice. Before my trip, I attempted to adjust my return flight but was told by Eva Air to contact Air Canada. Despite numerous calls to both the US and Hong Kong numbers at different times, including waking up at 3 am to wait on hold for 2 hours, I have been unable to reach anyone at Air Canada to make the necessary changes. The customer service experience has been extremely frustrating, with long wait times culminating in being disconnected once it's my turn to speak with a representative. As a travel agent, I handle my bookings, but I will think twice before recommending Air Canada to any of my clients in the future. Very disappointed with this experience.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am reaching out to request your assistance regarding my luggage that has remained in France until now. I traveled from Montreal to Paris Charles de Gaulles with Air Canada AC870 on December 20th at 8:50 PM. My final destination was Madagascar, and I took flight MD [redacted] on December 21st at 8:20 PM. During check-in in Canada, I requested for my luggage to be sent directly to Antananarivo. However, I was told it was not possible because Air Canada did not have an agreement with the next flight, Air Madagascar. My luggage was sent to Paris and has been there ever since, despite my arrival in Madagascar today. I want to mention that at the Air Canada Desk in Paris, I was assured that they would take care of transferring my luggage to the next flight. During boarding, the Air Madagascar agent confirmed that my luggage had been transferred. Upon arrival in Antanananarivo, I was informed that my luggage had remained in Paris. I am writing to seek your help in ensuring that my luggage is sent on the next Air Madagascar flight to Antananarivo, please. I have already informed Air Madagascar about this issue, and they are willing to return the luggage at no cost if they can locate it. My luggage has been missing for four days without any communication regarding its status. Despite being assured it would arrive with me at my destination, it has yet to show up. I was informed it would be delivered the next day, but three days have passed without any updates. I am in Portland for just three more days, and I am concerned about the possibility of it getting lost again on its way to Denver. My travel agent needs to speak with you directly regarding my seat assignment from IAD to YYZ on Dec 24th. I was given seat 19C, but during check-in, I was asked to pay a $32 fee. The travel agent assured me the fee would be waived since I didn't select a preferred seat and was following their advice. I spent nearly 3 hours on your customer service line. I am Huong Pham. My return flight, AC1704 from Las Vegas to Toronto, has been canceled, but I have not received an update from Air Canada. I had to book a hotel for tonight. Our luggage was delayed on December 22 due to a flight cancellation and a subsequent long delay. Unfortunately, our bags did not make it onto the plane to the US. We filed a report for the missing baggage at the airport. For the last four days, the online tracking form shows that they are still searching for our bag, with no information about what happens next. Air Canada's phone lines are all busy, and we have been unable to reach them for updates.

I departed from Toronto (YYZ) on Sunday, December 18th, bound for Grand Cayman Island. Unfortunately, my wife's luggage did not arrive with us, whereas mine did. Although I got an email from AC the next day stating apologies and assuring the bag would be shipped, it's been a week with no word and no bag. Despite the severe winter storm affecting Toronto and the eastern seaboard, we flew out well before it hit. I find it challenging that AC claims to be an international airline yet only offers a 1-[redacted] number for baggage assistance that works in Canada and the US. Since the 19th, I have not received any communication from AC at all. All I'm asking for is our missing bag.

I recently flew from San Francisco on Flight UA [redacted] to Phoenix with a connecting flight to Calgary AC [redacted]. Upon arrival, I filed a delayed baggage claim (claim number YYC AC [redacted]) with Air Canada in Calgary. My connection flight got canceled while traveling from Toronto to Portland, Oregon. I ended up stuck in Vancouver for 48 hours due to the cancellation. I had to pay for my own overnight accommodations since the airline couldn't provide any assistance. The flight was initially delayed from the 18th to the 20th, and then postponed without a definite date. We were even informed that we might have to travel to a different airport to catch a flight. Thankfully, we were eventually rescued by family members in Oregon during the storm. Despite numerous flight cancellations and our efforts, we were unable to retrieve our luggage from Vancouver airport, leading us to leave without it. The situation persisted in Oregon, but at PDX airport, we finally managed to contact an Air Canada representative who assisted us in locating our luggage. Although it was meant to be on the next flight, we couldn't reclaim it until a week later when we personally retrieved it from the airport. This unfortunate series of events significantly curtailed our planned trip, and the majority of our time was spent dealing with these challenges. We would appreciate compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused, preferably by extending our flight at no additional cost.

I received a $[redacted] voucher for my flight from YYZ to YVR on December 19, [redacted]. However, my flight was cancelled twice, delayed three times, and our baggage was misplaced, causing even more delays. We tracked the baggage through AirTags and discovered it went to Montreal. The email I received mentioned technical issues at Air Canada and baggage mishandling. These incidents led to a delay of over 10 hours, causing me to miss a planned proposal. I am facing issues logging in. The automated system sent me an email confirming my Aeroplan number is correct. However, I cannot reset my password as it indicates my Aeroplan number is incorrect. Despite numerous attempts with the automated agent and Air Canada representatives, I am unable to resolve the issue. The system prompts me to update my profile, but without being able to log in, this is not possible. I have been stuck in a loop trying to get assistance. I simply wish to speak to a knowledgeable representative who can comprehend the problem and assist in resolving it.

On July 7, [redacted], I purchased an airline ticket from Mexico City to Athens, Greece, for September 5, [redacted], to November 25 of the same year, for $18,[redacted].00 MXN. The ticket was bought under the name of Gilda de la Puente Alarcón. However, I did not receive any confirmation via email ([redacted]) or on my phone. After calling the airline multiple times, they were unable to find any reservation under my name for the specified dates. The payment was processed by my Invex Volaris card and charged by Air Canada as shown in my bank statement. It has been nearly a month, and I have yet to receive my bag. The incident occurred when my flight was canceled on December 18th from Toronto to Montreal. The missing bag was a carry-on that was tagged as a checked bag due to limited overhead space. As I was boarding the plane the next day to Atlanta, my bag was taken to the undercarriage because it still had the check-in tag. Upon arrival in the Bahamas, my bags had not arrived. I received one bag that was initially checked in, but the one taken from me while boarding is still missing.

I'm inquiring about a refund for my son, Elijah Risso, for a cancelled flight. He was informed via email on December 23, [redacted], of the cancellation of his Frankfurt to Vancouver flight on the same day. Since then, there has been a lack of communication or alternative flight options provided. We have reached out to Lufthansa and used the BudgetAir.com "Manage Your Booking" feature to find alternative flights. Recently, BudgetAir.com indicated that his ticket was exchanged for the outbound flight on December 23rd but marked as a "no show" for the return flight from Vancouver to Helsinki. Our concern lies in how Elijah could be marked as a "no show" for the return leg without being informed of the exchanged ticket on December 23rd or ever flown from Helsinki to Vancouver. We have been advised by BudgetAir.com to seek a refund through Air Canada. It seems reasonable to expect that Air Canada, Lufthansa, or BudgetAir.com should have provided Elijah with information about the exchanged ticket and his booking before the return leg.
