I have spent at least seven hours on the phone with AT&T over the past three days. I ordered a new phone, the iPhone ** Pro Max and I was going to exchange my *s plus as credit towards it. There was an error with the issue, I found that out when I went to the store earlier today. I spent half my day off, the one that I get, trying to get this fixed and it isn’t, it is really pissing me off. Here’s what’s happened. **We made the order over phone. Wouldn’t ship because i didn’t accept terms and agreements. It wouldn’t let me accept them though. I went in to an actual store today to get the problem fixed. The person there, Lexi, was amazing. She exhausted all of her resources and was still helpful. She tried making the order herself with my info and it wasn’t working. She gave me the one number that actually worked. My plan is under my mother’s name. I am still a minor though almost eighteen, which is why I couldn’t just buy it upfront at the store. Someone named Micheal answered the phone. He started making a whole separate account for me using my information but still under my moms account. We made it all the way to the end, I was reading the last few digits he needed, and the line disconnected. I called that number back immediately and someone else picked up. I explained what happened and asked to be transferred back to Micheal if possible. She tried to but then came back after five minutes of me on hold saying she couldn’t. We started over. I would’ve had to explain the whole account situation and what happened and what I need and get my mom on the phone with me again (she lives over *** miles away and has COVID at the moment) to say she allows this except when she put me on hold to put in some info I gave her she transferred me to someone who couldn’t help me at all, because apparently she was too lazy to do her freaking JOB. Then the line disconnected again. I drive home and now I’ve been on hold for forty five minutes. Nothing is happening. I need someone who can deal with a little bit of complexity and do it quickly. My phone is starting to stop working.
