After nearly ** years as a customer, ATT poor service finally drove me away. I switched to T-mobile in March, followed up with a phone call with a human to confirm the account cancellation. Was told I would have a refund, as I *pre-paid* for service with autopay. Not only have I not received the refund, they went ahead and charged me for the *next* month too, and of course won't change it. They also locked me out of the online account, so I couldn't even get to last months online bill, which I assumed reflected the refund they promised, and now getting hate mail for a "past due balance". I will have to pay the giant, of course, to protect my credit, even though it is wrong, it is not what I was told, but guessing noone at ATT actually cares about their customers any more anyway.
