What are the peak and off-peak travel times?

Asked 6 months ago
The peak travel times for Long Island Railroad are weekdays between 6:00 am and 10:00 am, and between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, excluding major holidays. During these hours, trains are more crowded due to commuters traveling to and from work. Outside of the peak hours, the off-peak travel times allow for a more relaxed and less crowded experience. Off-peak times are weekdays outside of the aforementioned peak travel times, and all day on weekends and major holidays. Passengers can enjoy greater seating availability and shorter boarding queues during off-peak hours. It is worth noting that specific train schedules may vary, so it is advisable to check the Long Island Railroad website or consult the timetable for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
