How Do I Buy a Gift Card from Itunes?
Users with an Apple ID can purchase gift cards from iTunes. You may also purchase specific items such as albums, songs or music videos.
Buying Gift Cards on Mac
Are you using a Macbook? Below are the steps to purchasing a gift card on the iTunes store:
1. Open the music app and go to the iTunes store in the sidebar. If you can't see it, visit Settings, tap General and select iTunes.
2. Click Send Gift Card and follow the prompts.
If you want to send a specific item to a loved one, visit the app on your Mac and search for music. You can preview the item before sending it or tap Gift This to purchase it.
Purchasing Gift Cards on a Mac
Below are the steps to purchasing an iTunes gift card on a PC.
1. Open the iTunes app and click Store.
2. Hit Send Gift and just follow the instructions on how to successfully purchase a gift card.
3. If you want to purchase specific items, choose Movies or Music in the iTunes app and then click Store.
4. Go to the top-right corner and type in what you want to purchase. iTunes will then display a list of items.
5. To preview an item, simply move the pointer to the preview button and click that.
5. When you're ready to purchase, just click Gift This on the pop-up menu and follow the instructions on how to purchase the item.
Remember, you can only use the gift card in the country where it was purchased.
