Air Canada is a Canadian airline. Originally founded in 1937, the company has grown to be the largest airline provider within Canada, by both fleet size and the number of passengers carried. The airline flies to 207 destinations around the world. If you have booked a flight with Air Canada and need to change your flight, keep reading for all of your options.
Any bookings made on the Air Canada website can be changed up to two hours before departure. Some fees may apply for flight modifications.
Go to www.aircanada.com
On the main page, select 'My Bookings.'
Enter your booking reference number and the passenger's last name. Click on 'Find.'
If your booking is eligible for changes, there will be a 'Change' option on the screen next to your booking. Click on 'Change' and follow the prompted instructions. You'll receive a confirmation email when your flight has been successfully changed.
If the 'Change' function is not on the screen, your booking may not be eligible for modifications. However, you should contact an Air Canada customer service representative to make see what other options available to you.
If you booked an Air Canada flight through a third party vendor, you may have to change your flight through them. Contact your booking vendor or agent and ask for their assistance in changing your flight. Make sure to ask the customer service agent to let you know what fees and charges apply for the changes made, both from Air Canada and the vendor themselves.
If you're having difficulties changing your flight online, your next step is to call into the Air Canada Customer Service team. Make sure you have your booking reference number on hand and ask for assistance in changing your flight. Keep the customer service agent on the line until you receive the confirmation email and have had a chance to review it. Additionally, ask the customer service agent to let you know what fees and charges apply for the changes made.
If you're already at the airport and need to make changes to a flight, it may be fastest to find an Air Canada support desk. Ask the attendant for assistance with any changes you need.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
